Have to add that the transfers from co-op out are terribly slow.

I moved 1p as a test and then £25 for the saver from Kroo - both went through immediately to Co-Op

I moved 1p back to Kroo just to confirm it was working before I move £1000 - the money went yesterday but the transaction was posted today and still not arrived. The payee details are correct (and were verified), I will probably need to do the transfers in dribs and drabs as the £1000 I earmarked for this will be needed elsewhere!

Will do the 5 transactions over the next couple of days and see how it goes
Quite likely this is being held for security reasons. I suspect you'll probably need to chase it.
Wife had an issue with this, fraud team message to check. Mine was fine, quite quick. Interestingly we bought 5 individual bananas each, from Sainsburys yesterday at self checkout to get the 5 DC transactions, contactless each one with no pin required and first time use of the cards.

Unusual to be able to use contactless before initial chip/pin. Did you phone to register for online use?

Yes I eventually got a text to call 159 then onto the Co-Op services to go through the obligatory fraud checks and the risk to me of losing 1p if it went to a fraudster's account. Went through it all and they approved it, not convinced if I should do the £1000 in one go though

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • I feel slightly concerned having just read a few comments from fellow forum ppl mentioning that they have received emails indicating that they are now eligible for the £100 / £50, according to their adhering to the various conditions.

My switch completed yesterday.  Immediately afterwards I transferred £1,050 into my new current account, then moved £25 into my new savings account.  I used the extra £25 in my current account to make five separate card purchases today (all of which are still pending).  I applied for my account (switching from a nationwide account) a couple of days after the offer was announced.

Having not received any emails mentioning the switch offer of the kind others have, should I be worried?  I’m sure this is all an exact science, follow the instructions and it’ll all work out, but it’s so nerve
-wracking somehow!  We are all I think so close now to receiving the £100!!

     Good luck everyone :)

  • Switch completed 8th Feb (standing orders and payees did not transfer). Setup standing orders, moved £1000 in/out, and made 5 online debit card payments all on 8th. Debit card payments cleared on 9th. Received £100 lunchtime today, 13th. All very smooth and as expected. Faster payments in take 2–3 mins to show, whilst faster payments out are instantaneous.

Congratulations!  It seems as if the £100 is being paid out pretty quickly … good news … I’m hopeful I’ll receive my £100 this Friday :)
  • I too am slightly worried as have not received any emails about switching or bonuses and have done everything yesterday after the switch happened (debit card transactions pending currently).

The only sort of personalised email was "Have you made your first deposit yet", which of course was received after I had made my first deposit.

I'm in the same situation too (and a family member who opened at the same time as me).

Received the text saying that the switch would happen yesterday (12/02/204), but no further correspondance confirming the switch completed or any other e-mails/texts.  I can see the switch has completed though as the direct debits transferred over and the old account is showing as pending closure (TSB).

Just gone ahead today and done the transfer and 5 x debit card payments.  Hoping everything is OK.

    Fingers crossed 🤞
In theory we should all be ok, it’s a bit worrying not to have received emails as a few others have directly referring to the switch offer.  Having said that, providing we’ve all completed our switches on time and set up the standing orders or DD’s, transfers and payments I reckon it’ll be ok.
Working according to the timelines other ppl here who have already received the £100 have mentioned, I think we might receive our payments either this Friday or on Monday.  Just a bit worried about the lack of an email …

Had a the "bonus status" email today, 13/2, saying £1k+ needed to be paid in (the only item left to qualify). The switch which completed 9/2 pulled in over £1k and I did the DC payments after that (they weren't mentioned as outstanding), so they are checking things in a strange way! Most of that £1k is going on a credit card payment, I don't really want to trap any more money in there so wont do a manual credit just yet given people are having delays getting it back.
For those tracking the DC clearing process, I did 5 x NS&I deposits on 10/2 and they showed as cleared this morning with a date of 12/2 (they weren't showing as cleared yesterday).
The pay in doesn't need to be £1k in one go, so you can pay in/out smaller amounts over the next few days if you're not in a rush and don't want to risk trapping a larger sum.
Thats how I saw it.  I did 2 or 3 in out each day for 3 days and all went thro ok.
