The £1000 was transferred as part of the switch and direct debits were already in place. I have done debit card payments 5 in total and switch completed today.0

There isn't much consistency with all (y)our experiences.
Got 4 more card payments to make, IF everything is going ok I'm hoping to get the £100 by Friday maybe.0 -
I'd be inclined to do them all again tbh.locky123 said:Switch was meant to complete on 9/2, no confirmation from either bank. Made £1k and 5 debits prior to switch, just to see whether they actually take notice.0 -
Hi. I had a similar situation, was given 9th as switch date. As it approached I contacted them and they said I had not requested a switch which was wrong. Prior to this they said they had cancelled my 1st application and cloned it to a new one, hence why I had 2 different application numbers. These were messages back and forth thru e-banking.locky123 said:Switch was meant to complete on 9/2, no confirmation from either bank. So I put in a written complaint and the next day someone called me and said I still have time to switch (the switch must be started by Friday this week I think) and she took my debit card details, sort code and stuff. 2 days later I got an email from switch team saying I had not provided my debit card number and the switch could not progress.
Sent an reply with the information, a third time and not heard anything back. Today I got a letter by post with 1 line saying "we have resolved your complaint".
As we are getting close to Friday, the cut off, I would get in touch. They seemed unprepared for the offer I think. Rubbish bank in my opinion.

Anyone else still waiting for the Co-Op account to be opened?
Had an email on Jan 17th "We're delighted to tell you that subject to a few formalities, we've approved your application.". Similar worded letter received in the post also dated Jan 17th and nothing since then.

Had that initially but then got a letter from their fraud team to contact them. After I confirmed it was me they sent all the cards etc. I would ring them if I were you.crumpet_man said:Anyone else still waiting for the Co-Op account to be opened?

Got email today saying now just need to transfer 1k and make 5 debit card purchases and I will qualify for the £100 which I did both yesterday so that will catch up. The email goes on to say once I get this I can the get £50 for opening the saver. I have already applied for the saver, yesterday and had email today to say saver being sorted. Now it may be just me but should I have waited for the £100 then opened the saver, or is the email just badly worded?1

How many days do the purchases take to clear? My 5 were made last Friday 9th and this Monday 12th. They have all been taken off available amount so are going through.PRAISETHESUN said:In case anyone is interested, my switch completed on 06Feb, £1k paid in on 07Feb, and debit card transactions cleared 08Feb. Received email saying £100 incentive had been paid on 09Feb, which was actually received in my account late this afternoon (12Feb).1 -
I made purchases to Amazon and Octopus after I saw my switch had completed. They pending balanced changed pretty much immediately and they were all cleared within 48 hours from memory - I suspect that nothing gets processed over the weekend which I'd imagine is why yours is taking so long.MACKEM99 said:

It's just badly worded I suspect. The only requirements are to actually be paid the initial £100, and then have £25+ balance in the savings account on day 45 to get the extra £50. You can open the savings account at any point (or even use an existing one if you're an existing customer).MACKEM99 said:Got email today saying now just need to transfer 1k and make 5 debit card purchases and I will qualify for the £100 which I did both yesterday so that will catch up.
