Did Anyone get OS Christmas Pressies

I asked for and got a wind up torch/radio/mobile phone charger all in one, which will be very useful for the allotment and in the car.
An allotment book which I will read but don't really need, at least it shows the givers put some thought into it.
Lots of clothes, smellies and chocolate all of which mean less spending during the year, so happy with them.
Strangest and most useless present was a laptop bag (I don't have a laptop!!)0 -
I got a granite mortar and pestle from my ma and dad which I think is very OS and I've been after one for ages now so YAY :j . I ground 2 cinnamon sticks last night and the smell was amazing (alot nicer than already ground cinnamon) and my BF was loving the smell also :rotfl: (maybe I'll ground some and make a little pouch bag for it for a kind of smellie bag lol). Hopefully I'll make some apple pies soon with the cinnamon I grounded that would be so yum, hehe. I'm really getting into baking and stuff. Hrm can't do it often though as don't want to put on to much weight lol.
Got a 501 must drink cocktails book from my sister which I think is OS as you can use all the drink you have left in interesting ways.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -
Santa brought me a food processor and a mixing bowl so should make life easier and encourage me to do more home cooking and baking (never really baked anything so might have a go at muffins first!). Also 2 pairs of cosy PJs and a super soft dressing gown which should help keep warm in my freezing cold house - hopefully it will reduce the heating costs.
Happy Christmas to all of you!0 -
I got the Mary Berry foolproof cakes book which I suppose is OS because I won't waste money making crappy cakes from recipes that don't work!
You lucky thing! I've borrowed it from the library over xmas and the recipes are great. The lemon drizzle tray bake is to die for, as are the chocolate eclairs.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
