I got a big box of screwdrivers (

), a chocolate fondue set (:j mmmmmmmmm), and a chart which tells you when to plant your veggies (going to be growing our own in 2008, so this will come in very handy! :T ). Its my birthday tomorrow - I am hoping for a small apple tree and one of those plastic greenhouse thingys - probably get a(nother) socket set! :rotfl: ( I have more tools than most of the men I know - I suppose it comes with being single and having to do things yourself! ha ha)
I hope everyone had a lovely day. Wishing everyone a happy, MSE (of course), new year

Hi,
I was lucky enough to get:
A freezer, Which I got dad to give me cash for, he gave me £100 'towards it' so I bid for one with a dent on comet clearance site and got it for £91 brand new and delivered!:o
A wind-up radio.
'Thrifty ways for modern days'
A beautiful small blue thermos flask, so I won't buy my £1.59 daily coffee to keep me warm in commuter-land.
Hobbycraft vouchers so I can get more wool and finish the throw for my bed.
Electricity-free dehumidifier for my damp bedroom.
Hoorah! Friends and family have really got my OS message. In the words of James (pop band), 'i'm so obsessed that I'm becoming a bore....';)
Thanks OSers, you're an inspiration.
Weezl x

I bought my fella the Panasonic reduced to 39.99. I looked yesterday and it had gone up to £64.99. If he looks he will think I am incredibly generous.
I got some make up which I was going to buy after Christmas as my stuff is donkeys years old (yes I know its supposed to get bacteria etc. in it, but I am still here folks!!!).
Best of all though (in my view, is £85 worth of tokens between M&S and Debenhams) where I shall be making extremely wise choices with my shopping some time when all the madness has died down. I do need a new omeletter pan as mine has got a bit sticky now, but I have used it for years and years and it will be relegated to a sausage pan, so still old style.:)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
