I love the idea of you having a corn field in your garden

I quite often go awol mainly if I’m feeling depressed, obviously losing B didn’t help either. If I’m having a depressive episode I will withdraw from communicating with people unless I really have to. Sometimes going to work takes all my energy so I just retreat when I come homeMakingabobor2 said:What you posted yesterday about not posting lately, sounds just like me. I have been AWOL from my diary for about 2 weeks due to mental and physical reasons. Not sure if it’s old age or the weather...lol. Glad to see you are feeling a bit better now though.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

I just feel having to do so much stuff online these days is very draining. Need to get off FB as well...that's driving me insane. Only stay on it for my exercise group, but find myself scrolling rubbish as well.Onebrokelady said:

Ladies funny you should say that……I have been really really low as well. Combination of my horrible illness, drs not talking to my medical team and vice versa, PIP people driving me insane, my pension driving me insane-I used to work for a pension company so know most of the ins and outs but my company have made it so difficult…..all I wanted to know is what could I get if I paid an extra x,y or z….. it is very painful.
i have another 10 years left to work and wanted to make the most of it now i just feel like giving up.
Sorry OBL - I didn’t want to have a pity party on your diary honest!I bet your garden is looking smashing! We have the usual small birds, the most mournful wood pigeon ever and 2 crows…..I like the crows. Dog2 is convinced the birds are about to attack and gets quite upset when they are making a noise. Can’t really call it singing!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

I don’t the weather is helping. One minute it’s beautiful sunshine and warm lifting our spirits, the next it’s dark and gloomy and pouring with rain. My moods are definitely affected by the weather. My heart really goes out to you on losing B because I’m absolutely dreading losing my dog, now 12, she keeps me going. Hoping I’ve got her for a few more years yet 🙏 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

It’s good to see you OBL. I’ve not been on the computer much recently as I’m trying to cut down on the time I spend on screens just scrolling and only giving half attention to things around me.It seems silly to me that somebody is perfectly capable of looking after a cat for 6 months…..garden or no garden, but has to have a garden to look after one full time. My sil has had rescued cats as long as I’ve known her and not one of them had been run over. When she tried to get one a couple of year ago she was told she was too close to a busy road and lived in a flat. It’s a flat over a shop which has outside access via a private staircase at her back door and balcony. There are fields at the back of her flat so the cats have had easy access to get out and about. She was devastated and said they made her feel like a criminal for wanting another cat. She wouldn’t go to a different place as the first one made her feel so bad (and it’s where she got her previous cats) she lives alone and has gone downhill since. Not sure whether that has anything to do with not having a cat for company any more or if it’s just coincidental 🤷🏻♀️
It sounds as if you’re really getting on with the garden 👍January spends - £587.583 -
So sorry you are feeling down. Hope being out in the garden is helping.
How sad for your daughter. Our boys are Ragdolls, and they are sold as indoor cats, Ragdoll rescue rehomes cats, mostly slightly older ones who often don't get on with other cats, and as they tend to be indoor cats only lack of an outdoor space shouldn't be an issue. Ours go out in the back garden, but only when we can sit out there with them and they haven't figured out how to climb the fences yet! Other pedigree breeds may have similar, often being bred as indoor breeds.
There is certainly scope out there for her to have an indoor cat, it may take some searching, but if she does want a full time cat I am sure there is one in her future.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
Good to hear from you . Hope you are enjoying a good weekend . The garden sounds like it’s coming on really well . I miss a garden to sit in , but not the actual gardening .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1
