I didn’t know they did smaller ones 😀 how awful to run out of meatballs 😀amber03 said:We’ve just had a smaller ikea open not far from where I live. Been very busy in there which isn’t a surprise. Thanks I’m looking forward to it arriving but I need to get rid of mine first 😳 I’m going to list it tomorrow so hopefully it will be gone by the end of the week, if not I’ve got The British Heart Foundations details to come and pick it upCherryfudge said:So pleased you have your sofa! How did the rehab session go?
Rehab went well, struggled a bit with doing squats as I was in a lot of pain but she gave me an alternative exercise which worked really well

Wow that was a busy week
Rehab was good yesterday despite some initial struggles because all my joints were really painful. I have found that if I just carry on it does get easier as I get quite stiff even sitting for twenty minutes which is how long the bus journey is, I was ok once we had got the squats out the way. We are now doing each exercise for 2.5 minutes with a 15 minute walk at the end, I find the walk quite easy because it’s flat and I walk at home.My chest has felt really good this week and I’m wondering if that’s because there are now no feathers in my house, I checked my sats the other night as I was feeling so good and they were 98 which is amazing for someone with 60% lung function. My consultant wants my lung function to be improved to 70% and I’ve got 5ish months to do it so I’m on it 😀 Money wise the rehab isn’t doing me any good because along with the extra bus fare I also bought a book in the Oxfam shop while waiting for the bus then on my way back I went into Lidl and bought a rhododendron 😳.
I came home and slung some food in the oven then went out and planted the Rhododendron so it wasn’t hanging around for days and I wanted to use up the bag of compost that was open.Today I met DD2 for coffee and a wander round town. She bought couple of books but I didn’t buy anything although I did pick up my prescription. I came home and went out to rake leaves up off the patio because it’s going to rain tomorrow, there was massive pile but there’s still loads more to come down.Tomorrow I’m having a day at home to do some much needed housework as I’ve been out everyday the past week. So there’s ironing on the list plus dusting and hoovering, that will keep me busy 🙂
Tonight I’ve been pondering weight loss, I really need to lose weight and I’ve been trying to do it by counting calories and weighing myself but I’m not sticking to it so I’m thinking about going back to slimming group. I’ve done WW and SW and I lost weight on both but I got fed up with SW and their ridiculous rules such as a bananas if I remember right are either free or lower points if you are eating the banana as is but if you mash it up it’s not free or it’s more points, you mash it up with your teeth when you eat it so that doesn’t sit right with me 😀 WW is also cheaper per month at the moment so there’s that aspect too. I don’t t want to go to physical classes because winter is coming and I know I won’t want to drag myself out so I was looking for online which they both provide. I just need some encouragement and have a way to be held accountable which will be recording my weight loss. I suppose I could log it on here too and you can all hold me accountable too 😬 I looked at some of the recipes that WW have on their app and they were all really nice and easily adaptable to a vegetarian lifestyle ………hmmmmm I will spend tomorrow ponderingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8947 -
Glad your chest is feeling ok and hopefully will continue to improve now the feathers are gone!
I'm doing SW at the moment, though I am going to group as I also need the accountability. I tend to ignore the bits that don't make sense to me - though I do see the logic - if you are eating one banana, then to me, it doesn't really matter how you eat it. But if mashing/pureeing it means you'd eat 6 because the volume isn't there, then it does make a difference in terms of how much you are consuming.

I am sorry if this is covered elsewhere but do you not get a bus pass? In Liverpool we get one at 60. There are slight restrictions in as much as it cant be used during rush hour but other than that it covers Merseyside and a little beyond.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20223

Hi no I don’t qualify for a bus pass here until state pension age which in my case is 67 ☹️Karonher said:I am sorry if this is covered elsewhere but do you not get a bus pass? So today didn’t go as planned ( surprise surprise 😀) as I felt really tired so decided to have a more chilled day than originally planned. I did do two loads of washing and cleaned my bathroom but didn’t get the ironing done ☹️ it was a miserable wet day so I didn’t get outside either. I nearly went back to bed at 4pm but I made myself stay up so that I sleep tonight.DD1 sent me a video this afternoon of their new puppy who they picked up today and he is very cute, he seems to have settled in but hasn’t met their other dog yet so we will see how that goes, their other dog will be ok as he is the softest friendliest dog on the planet, he is ten now though so im not sure what he will think about having a puppy in the house 😀 I will be meeting the puppy next weekend .
Tomorrow I’m going to visit my mum, I was supposed to be seeing her on Saturday with DD2 but she cancelled because she didn’t feel very well so I’m going tomorrow to check she’s ok. I will probably do some shopping on the way home, I don’t need much but I’m picking up bits for Christmas so will have a look and see what there is.
Im off to bed now that’s it’s a reasonable time to go 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944
