It's really disgraceful that they still haven't got their act together. Is this any help?

    Sending hugs.

None of these big departments seem sufficiently 'joined up' to function coherently, do they OBL? I noticed that when dealing with HMRC & the DWP a couple of years ago. It all adds time, extra phone calls, frustration & worry. How less articulate & literate people navigate it, I can't imagine.
I do hope the money side of things starts to come together for you very soon & I am sorry things are so difficult.

Don't normally comment but if you write a letter starting this is a letter of complaint  explaining. Also put complaint on front of envelope.  These have to be sorted priority under government guidelines.
It works don't ask how I know
    Good luck

Hi , the dwp might cancel the call next week if they have already decided you are entitled to the higher rate ESA , just a thought , although no doubt the departments won't communicate with each other , good luck xx
The higher rate is in relation to UC not ESA

Thank you foxgloves 🙂they really need a complete overhaul in the way they do things, for a start they presume everyone has access to the internet and if you don’t have it at home they tell you to go to the library or job centre which is all fine and dandy if you have the money to get there or aren’t too ill to get there. The fact that HMRC are taxing me for a benefit I don’t actually receive takes the biscuit though 😡
