I’ve had quite a nice weekend. I felt better on Saturday so pottered around at home and also repotted a couple of my houseplants, I never used to be very good with house plants but somethings clicked and they are all thriving, I am really excited becasue the orchid that was given to me for my 60th birthday is about to flower for the third time, I was really worried when she gave it to me because I didn’t think I would be able to keep it alive but it’s doing really well so I seem to be good with orchids in the house and roses outside 😀
On Sunday I gave my bedroom a good deep clean and also cleaned the front bedroom windows. I used to have a window cleaner but he retired and the ones going round now are expensive so I did them myself and they look really good.
Today I met DD2 for a coffee in town because she needed to buy some sports bras as she’s taken up running. The only thing I bought was some Dr Beckman washing machine cleaner😀 I do know how to treat myself. I did see a lovely green knitted top in M&S but I left it on the shop ☹️ we also popped into Waterstones but didn’t buy anything in there either, I felt a bit unwell then so had to have a sit down for a few minutes, I think it was the heat as it was so warm. I had a twenty minute wait for my bus so I went and looked in the free community library in the shopping centre and I got myself a free book from there 😀

The heat makes me a lot more tired than usual and today has been on the warm side! I quite often have a nana-nap during the day at the moment.
I do like orchids, they are very generous with their flowers: they last ages and they're so elegant. You must be getting it right if it's on its third lot of flowers!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Good news at last , I’ve got an appointment with the respiratory team on the 15th of September 🥳🍾🥳not too long to wait now. It says it’s for an hour so I don’t know what they do, I know you meet the different team members but I’m not sure if they will do anymore tests. DD2 is coming with me, she is actually working that day but her manager has given her time off to come with me.
I was also supposed to have a phone assessment with the ESA people today at 11.30 but they didn’t phone 🤷♀️ I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve sent them my most recent sick cert which has pulmonary fibrosis on it as my diagnosis, when I phoned them last week they said I would get a message telling me they had received the paperwork I’ve sent them but I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m hoping I will get notification on Friday because that is the day my statement goes on to my portal on UC but I’m not sure the ESA stuff goes on there.
I haven’t done much at all today because I am extremely tired, I’ve relied on the sofa and caught up on some YouTube videos mainly.
I’m meeting my friend for coffee tomorrow so I hope I’ve got more energy than thisOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -

After all this waiting, what a relief to have a date for your appointment, and nice that your daughter has decided to come too.
I hope the ESA stuff gets sorted soon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
