Funny thing about the tomato soup: my husband used to have it every time he was ill. I should probably pop a couple in my emergency food cupboard just in case.
I often feel at my worst at the ends of the day. I don't think it means the lurgy is winning, but it's lurgy plus fatigue plus darkness and the body is trying to wind down. In the morning there's the wait for coffee and painkillers to kick in. I hope tomorrow is better.I think you’re right and I’m just feeling ropey because it’s the end of the day and I’m a bit tired. I’m going to take myself off to bed in a minute and will hopefully have a better night than I did last night, I’m definitely not coughing as much as I was yesterday so fingers crossed this will be gone by Wednesday when I’m due back at work 🤞🤞🤞Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -
Another tomato soup family here for illness . Not sure why but suspect its something to do with childhood.
Hope you feel better soon3 -
When my DH was in the Hospice the chef was ex Harvey Nicks and could cook anything within reason requested, my DH only wanted Heinz Tom soup for every meal. The chef came and talked to him to try and get him to eat something else but no, he had the soup for lunch and tea every day. My go to ‘sick’ food was Heinz chicken soup (which I can’t have now as coeliac)Sealed pot challenge 822

Well he knew what he needed at the time ❤️ I used to like chicken soup when I ate meat but my favourite would be French onion 😍😍Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

Another day battling the lurgy, well I wasn’t battling as such more sleeping it off. I found enough paracetamol in the cupboard to last me until tomorrow morning so I didn’t have to go out in the end which was a massive relief. I’ve set my clock to wake me so I can phone the surgery in the morning to try and get an appointment tomorrow because I think someone needs to listen to my chest.I didn’t manage to eat much today either because I feel too ill so my cottage pie will have to wait for another day. I ate some toast and peanut butter but even that was a struggle. I’ve drunk a lot of water though so that’s good. The headache I thought had gone has come back with a vengeance so I need to get that checked out as well. I can feel a pulse in my temple so I don’t think it’s GCA but they told me to tell them if I get a headache
Obviously I haven’t done anything today apart from sleep then lounge on the settee feeling sorry for myself. I’m not sure I will be well enough for work on Wednesday at this rate which is a worry but I will just have to cross that bridge when I come to it. I’m going to reiterate that I need to be moved off the ward because I suspect I’ve caught this from one of the patients last week. I am seriously peed off that I’ve caught something after being really careful but the ward is just full of viruses so I suppose it was inevitable, I’m going to do a covid test as well tomorrow just in case, I did one on Friday and that was negative so hopefully this one will be too 🤞🤞🤞Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206 -
If you've not had the same amount of caffeine drinks tea coffee fizzy drinks etc as usual it could be a caffeine withdrawal headache? They are awful thumping headaches but resolve either through time or when you next have a cuppa
