  • @Makingabobor2 are you using chrome? & what type of computer? Congrats on the survey amounts. I've not had much luck with surveys, though do YouGov still, it just takes forever to get to the £50.
I got booted from ipsos for pretty much no reason at all, no right of appeal either. Essentially I think I read too fast.

I forgot to add  interest which for some reason didn't occur to me to track as extra income until working out PAD and disovering pennies I didn't know I had in savings/account for.

In total I have interest on various saver accounts/pots that comes to a grand total of 8p.

    So now at  £131.90

This means predicted extra income with all the caveats above is now:
£154.83/£155 !    17p to go, which feels more annoying (less round and neat!) than 25p.

Though this won't be the exact figure as much depends on the exchange rate and pending user testing sessions going without a hitch!

Quick question: do you count gifts (eg christmas / birthday money) as extra money for the challenge?
I haven't, though it's been my birthday this month with money gifts.  It doesn't feel like I did anything to *make* that money, therefore didn't occur to me it might be counted or people might count it. What do you all do with money gifts?

Good question - I haven't had any money gifts since I started doing this 😂 Do let us know what you decide! I think I'd probably count them as extra income - not 'made' as such, but not from normal income.

£8.50 cleared in Vinted today, and another £3 pending (parcel has arrived, so will clear automatically on Monday if there's no problem). I'll wait til Monday I think and cash out together, then decide on the next batch of stuff to list 😊 Three things at once was enough for me - I've already restricted the number of posting options as I hadn't realised they weren't all available in my nearest town so it was a bit if a faff!

I used to do this challenge a few years back and most people used to include cash gifts as it is extra income :-

I've requested my £11.50 from Vinted, so I'll count that once it lands in the bank.

Also did a couple of Prolific surveys, standing at £4.75 cleared, and 1P, which is only up to £9.75.

Downloaded Ziffit again today and found a few books to get rid of - quoted £5.02 for those, so I'll see if there are a few more to add over the next few days.

Want to get some more stuff on Vinted, but I'm finding it manageable just having a few things on the go at the time, so I,lol get Ziffit sorted, then find 3 more things for Vinted 😊
  • A further £12.94 from Prolific and £5.76 from TCB making my new total £181.56/£280.
