Joining this party very late  :# – I'll do £5 a day as it feels more manageable than £10 in my current situation. I'm currently at £1.94 from debit card cashback, plus £3.13 in my Jamdoughnut account. So I'm just a liiiiiitle bit behind my goal.

Anyone here use Airtime Rewards? Do you count it to your total? If so, do you count it when you cash out while it's pending?

    Welcome!!
I use Airtime Rewards although I don't get that much from it. I would count it when its cleared though.

  • Hello everyone! Sorry for radio silence, have been away until this week and it was my birthday also poorly-sick partner.

Thanks for the new thread @outoftheviciouscircle.
@Makingabobor2 I'm so sorry you've been so ill. It's scary how much it takes out of you isn't it? Take it easy, and increase activity gradually. Do not underestimate the fatigue or how quickly it sets in during recovery once you've been knocked so badly by it - speaking from experience here.

@FrugalAspirations : I asked this when I was new in December. Consensus is generally count when cleared (as it's not actual money nor guaranteed. I don't even count my cashback from Lloyds Everyday Offers until it's in my account the following month - and once it's showing they always pay out.  But it isn't there until it's in your account or redeemed against a bill really. It's just a promise.  So I am only counting actual payouts, though I may mention pending things I know are almost certainly coming when I've earned them (like usertesting jobs) . Annoying as that is somtimes!

I am aiming for £5 a day so £155 monthly again.

I think I will almost certainly exceed that, but still not optimistic about £10 a day! Usertesting is slower, I need to get back to proper work and building my practise up again after recovering from surgery and it's a massive priority to get a viable steady income from that again so little time.  Also little time for selling.

Current total so far this month is:

    £95.19/£155.

This is from usertesting completed in Dec  - £91.19  (any Jan usertesting hasn't cleared yet as they are now on 14 days pending.)  £4 from a vinted sale.
I have cashed out £32.89 cashback from TCB which should arrive in a couple of days .

In total from that cashback I've withdrawn and usertesting due to clear in Jan, and confirmed cashback from Lloyd's everyday offers that will clear the last day of Jan (earned in Dec)  I excpect to clear  £151.01
Which leaves me £3.99 to make before the end of Jan to reach £5 a day. I now feel like I've under-aimed.
Maybe I should challenge myself to £7 a day - £10 a day feels like way to much and might distract me from my actual job with limited energy!

I didn't think £5 extra would be possible with my energy levels and lack of usertesting sessions due to being away, but also it seems slower for me in Jan with less compatible sessions offered. SO I'm super pleased the cashback cleared, I wasn't expecting it to be payable until April!
It will be a long while before I get any cashback cashing out I think from cashback sites, though I may get another £20 bonus clearing in Feb, but who knows.

Just goes to show the unexpected IS possible.

You are all doing so well.
@FrugalAspirations  you could always aim for £5 a day from when you joined, even though slightly late - which might be more realistic and doable, therefore more motivating if you're not trying to play catch up. What is jamdonught? I do use Airtime Rewards, it's a slow burner. As I said above, I would only count it when it applied to my bill successfully.
I have about £8 sitting there at the moment and £1 ish pending. So close, but so far. Especially now boots has gone from the rewards!

Great to have you on board @BJV.
I do a little bit of mystery shopping and Surveys mainly to make my extra money. The best survey site without a doubt is Prolific, however I believe there is a waiting list to join at the moment.
I also do receipt scanning, this is a slow process if you keep at it then the money will appear eventually.
Who do you usually do mystery shopping for?

I started this 12 months ago and it can be a nice little sideline.

I got declined by Prolific (for not resembling my passport!) but use Nielsen for the shop scanning, had about £50 so far since about midsummer and halfway to another £25.

Yay, just spotted this new thread! 😊

I did this for the first time in November, and did actually get to £10 a day thanks to some bank switching 😊

Aiming for £10 a day this month too 😊 So far had £118 interest from an easy access savings account (forgot this was paid as a lump sum annually so it was a nice surprise!).

Prolific is up to 23p 😂😂 Need to up my game 😂😂

Also tried Vinted for the first time! Sold 3 things, for a total of £11.50, which I'll not count yet - I've posted them all but they're either in transit or waiting to be collected so it's still pending.

We should be getting another £175 from the last bank switch - I'll check tomorrow if that's finally paid out and chase if not. That would get us very close to the total if so! 😊

    Other plans for January
    * got another bank switch in progress, which should go through but they give themselves 28 days to pay the incentive so not counting til it arrives
    * get to 1P payout! Currently at £8.90 so might not make it in Jan
    * check Prolific more often
    * matched betting/casino offers - this fluctuates so not counting til the end of the month. Currently at £2 🙄

And obvious Agent Million will be ringing about my premium bonds, so that'll tip me over the daily total nicely 😁😂😂

    Good luck everyone!
