Wonderful re test news. What motivation to get going nowMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Morning all, the flooring guy and the electrician are in today laying the floor and finishing off electrics. Hopefully in a couple of days they will be fully signed off
I have ordered a swimsuit from big river shop online, I had the £20 voucher so it cost me £5. I think I am going to go and sign up for the swimming membership at the gym when it arrives. As busy as I always seem to make myself I need to make time for getting a bit fitter. And the cost isn't too bad.
I have lost a tonne of photos on my g00gle drive, it kept telling me I was out of storage so I thought I had moved them over to my laptop successfully before deleting them but I can't find them anywhere nowso am not sure if they're gone forever. I also thought they would be on the other photo app on my phone but the whole bloody thing is connected. I hate modern technology. I really need to invest in a nice camera again. I will be sad if I have lost all the pics from DD/ DS birthday, xmas and FLD pics before he passed.
I managed to restore a few from the 'trash' but many are already gone.
I need to pop to the shops today, I haven't done a big shop in ages but small and often is still the way forward until new kitchen is in. I will decide what we're having for dinner then go get any missing ingredients. If it isn't much I will walk there and back as knee is okay today.
I am going to weigh myself today and then set some goals for losing weight. I am feeling very unhappy about my appearance right now and would like to lose some. All clothes are too tight and I am living in big and baggy. My summer hols was supposed to be for me getting fitter and healthier. I have eaten okay, but too big portions for not enough exercise (thanks to bloody knee as well!) Meh, having a down on my appearance day, suppose it's allowed every now and then. I will be back with weight loss goals later, and i really need to stick to them this time. And stop giving myself portions the same size as DP when he is 6ft and I am 5'3"!!
Also going to go and clean the garden up a bit, the builders aren't in the way today cutting big boards so I will fill the green bin and try to cut the grass. I want to achieve 10k steps today if I can. All dependent on knee of course, but it was okay yesterday and I am hoping holds out today too and is on the way to being fully healed ( I have been using magnesium spray on it which I think has really helped).
SO jobs:- shopping
- cut grass
- fill green bin (i've lots piled up already so just needs moving and weed one area)
- hoover front room
- weigh myself and try not to cry
- set weight loss goal
- move money out of savings to pay for builders when they are done (one account seems to take 2 days to move it)
- 10k steps if I am physically able
- look at skip hire we are getting one if we have enough cash once the builders are finished - we don't want them filling it so will get it when this job is signed off (they will take all rubbish if there is no skip).
Okay think that is enough.MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
