You can change your vinted settings so that you only send with certain couriers, I only do Royal mail, evri and inpost as in my small town i can send evri from the post office and there is 3 different  inpost lockers all based at the supermarkets which are about a 2 minute walk from each other. You can change it if you go into settings, then postage, then drop off points and it should come up with a list of couriers.
Oh! I didn't realise... I will do that! Although the guy who was in the last shop told me he pretty much has all of them there- not that I realised before I'd already gone to two different shops 🤣

    Morning all ☺️

Well yesterday's plan got changed. I was up and ready to leave early and DD wasn't far behind me. At around 10:30 DD knocked on friends door (DS room) and said will you be long getting ready? Friend says no, DD comes down to chat with me, and friend gets into shower and proceeds to wash very very long hair 😳. I've had very very long hair and know she will not be ready in a jiffy....12pm she comes down and says I'm ready and I am going to go home today if that's okay I don't want to impose any more. We say whatever suits you is fine we're easy either way. She then tells me the train is at 5:40 and I'm like well we're not going on a long road trip then. We will stay local. She looked deflated and I said to her I'm not wasting up to three hours driving there and back for a couple of hours to do things (tough). So we went local DD asked if I would come. DD has had enough of friend by this point..she's not seen her for five years and a whole week I think was just too much especially with the new job on top of that..😬
So I ended up buying expensive parking, cinema tickets (which both girls looked at the price and went omg how much - I managed to get a discount of £5 per ticket though from an app). Then DD paid for the lunch (used my TC so 25% off) and friend didn't pay for anything (she works full time and actually earns more than me 😬) DD was getting grumpy with this so I had to give her sneaky little looks to say shush. Omg what a day 🤣🤣🤣. I also avoided the loos in the shopping centre as they charge for them. Went to M&S instead and saw they had a 50% off sale. Spent £50+ 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Then DD was almost late for the cinema as we'd split off to go to different shops as she and friend found some stray kittens. I got her to come to the cinema but we had to go check them out again after. They seemed to be okay and mum was seen (looks like a baby herself). Security didn't want to know even though it was just outside their property. And so we left them and said we will check again today. Friend got off ok then DD offloaded to us for an hour at least...me and DP sat and listened and let her moan. It seems friend was ringing her ex every night and he was openly calling DD a fat ugly *insert horrible slurs on women words*. I said to DD why didn't you say something then. She said she didn't like to make a fuss but friend didn't even stand up for her. I would have been fuming and done something, hence why DD never told me she thinks I over-react. I actually turn into fierce overprotective mother lion 🙄🤪😆. In my head anyway.

We got pizza for dinner as I was done in by this point so yesterday was a total write off really. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Although the £50 spent was for presents for Xmas...so budgeted for I guess. Parking and cinema was around £40 so I guess damage not too bad there. Pizza in evening another £33. Sigh ...had to be done though we were all flagging at that point and the kitchen was an inch in dust from electrician making holes all over the ceiling 🤣.

Today - the sun is shining. Our house is empty. No builders no electricians no plasterers. 😌😌😌
    DD is at work.
    DP is in his office.

I am going to drink my tea. I'm going to have an amble around the house and straighten things. Then I'm going to do some gardening. I need some downtime and I've totally over-peopled enough for the rest of July 🤪🤣. Butterflies, birds and squirrels and flowers will be my friend today. As was some music of my choice not 17 year old angry loud music. 😌 Hope everyone else has a good day 😁.

That sounds like an exhausting day! I’m kinda glad that DD’s friend has gone home now …
Very glad that you now get a day to decompress 😊

Glad the pal lives so far away.  Having felt sorry for her I now have less sympathy.  Perhaps dd will be able to avoid any potential suggestions for another meet up either at urs or up here, busy, work, unwell, mum won't let me, no money etc etc and the friendship will naturally die away again.

Sad, though not surprising, that the friend seems to have modelled her relationship like her parents' relationships.  Why be in touch with an ex at all at 17 but especially this one, and to allow your dd to overhear his insults is bad enough, to not correct him suggests a whole lot about her, him and their relationship.

Glad you can get a day of peace today
