As you work in a school you should be able to get a blue light card which gives you a discount off sketchers (or borrrow your daughters student union card)
I couldn't use more than one thing for discount.... although I might have been doing it wrong 🤔.

Feel very nauseous this morning, Dr said this might be one of the side effects of the HRT. 🤢
    I hope it passes soon.

Had to drag myself out of bed this morning feel so drained and tired. It's Friday though so yay! 😀

I had to change my oestrogen 3 times before I found the one that worked for me - & now on the second testosterone
     hope the sickness passes soon

the retreat sounds wonderful especially the no cooking of yummy food

I also had Wednesday night a new  found appreciation for the fact I have a safe secure roof over my head - it’s so

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

So many people I come across daily that make me feel gratitude for what I have LWAP. I don't have masses compared to many but I've enough and I'm safe and feel secure enough so it's good enough for me 🪷❤️.

I had one of those elusive NSD today 😁🏅 I reckon I might make my target this month!

I've come home and planted some seeds I had soaking in loo rolls cut in half. Ran out of loo rolls so need to find something else to use. The sunflowers had cracked as had some of the lupins which was good and I also had nasturtiums soaked which had absorbed all the water. I think I might chance those straight in the ground outside. Not sure where to put them as never grown them but they look low level ground cover so tempted to put them in a shady spot if they will tolerate it okay where I have issues with ground elder coming up as there is nothing in that bed aside from trees.

I'm tired. Only two days actually working and it's zapped me. There is lots of issues with some conflicts of interest in work and I don't know how to go around it because complaints to my manager will usually be sent on to her manager who is the one who has conflicts of interest with certain families at work...she knows them and therefore will argue on their side even when they're clearly in the wrong. I've seen it happen three times now and that's just on my part time watch 🤔. Anyway. Work be gone out of my head!
Free activity head on please and one that wants to cook lots of good meals and clean the house this weekend 😁🫤😆.
The sickness passed around lunchtime but until then I was really really nauseous. 🤢. Hopefully it won't last long but I will keep a diary to watch it ...

Right going to get changed and get a few minutes in the garden whilst the sweet jacket potatoes cook 🪷🪻🌸.

Sorry to read about the interaction with your sister and I agree with others that you are moving forwards, onwards, upwards in so many ways, not least spiritually and healing.  I have family difficulties too, just want to say you sound so loving, honest and caring, maybe they are not able to see that, and DS2 has his teenage filter on - but we "hear it" in your words. Take care and have a wonderful weekend!!
Edited to say I also need to buy a pill box, it's time.

    Thanks beanie! You too 😁
Thanks earth girl I have good and bad days regarding family and how I feel about it all.. DS is being okay today. He was very tearful yesterday and quite rude to me before school..when he came in I think he expected a lecture and had his heckles up. I just asked him how his day was and I saw him relax and he shared with me. He's recently split up with his first serious girlfriend (they have been dating since October I think?) and he's quite upset so I'm trying to ignore bad behaviour (I have my limit though).

Well some good news- ISA matured!
I paid the car loan off today. With my money from the Isa. So have £10300 left towards the extension. I'll update sig on the car loan.

And obviously at some point another £40k (thereabouts) will be added because of the extension but not yet as we've not organised it. I'm trying to keep overall lending under £150k though (including mortgage). Which is roughly 3x our joint income. Or less than 4x DP income on his own. So I really need the loan as close to £35k as I can get it rather than £40. It might be though that we take out £40k and I just overpay as quickly as I can..as soon as I have a small EF I will be diverting all extra towards our OPs.

Hope everyone has a good weekend 😀 we've started ours with some G&Ts and an oldie on the tele, after abandoning a woke movie that we couldn't be bothered wasting time on (we opted for a classic -quadr0phenia instead).

Made a quick £50 today selling some old records that DP sis gave us. She said if we didn't want any to do so. So managed to clear out around a dozen I reckon and get some money. We could have got more selling individually but after costs involved we preferred the quick win. The buyer looked happy enough. Even though he cheekily tried to lower the amount somewhat. I reckon we could have got double to the right person and he knew it so parted with the cash 😁.

NSD as the only thing we bought was a bit of food (I never did the Mr T shop the other day only LidQ & knew I needed to go for my gf stuff at some point). Will class it as a NSD though because I don't count food or bills on this challenge. So I think I've made my target nearly....yes one more day which I should manage 😁.

DP sis gave the record collection to us last year and it's taken us this long to sort through it and get rid of what we didn't like 🙈 oops. But it's done now. DS 1 took a fair bit too for his collection at Xmas. I'm on a bit of a mission to clear out the dining room now as much as possible because when the conservatory is taken down I will have to find a home for the fridge and freezer (both big ones) and a three seater sofa as well as my larder cupboard (bottom of the wardrobe!)

My brain is getting fried with thinking about money lately so I need to sit and go through budget at some point. We have an extra £272 back in the budget now because of the car being paid off so overall we have around £700 (I think) spare. Need to direct it into the right place - so need to sort the budget out.

I have an extra day's work planned for my usual day off next Wednesday and it's an all-day job from 7:30am to 9:30pm. But it pays pretty well and it was fun last time so I'm looking forward to it and seeing people I met last time. However no day off to do shopping so I may get an online shop this weekend planned for delivery on Tuesday evening.

Right off to finish de-weeding the driveway. We didn't realize how big it was until we started weeding round every single brick 🫩🥴...! Also doing a tip run and getting rid of the last of the rubbish from the corner of the drive...and I've located my bins there now out of the way and they have a home 😁 they've been moved about so much it was driving me mad lol. Happy Sunday all!
