You are going through a lot
think running club is a great idea for DS he may also meet some new friends and maybe learn wisdom from some of the runners

glad the hot flushes have gone - mine and the cramps have gone since I am on hrt - it’s the only medication I have ever been permanently on but am very glad for it
think getting the right meds is a case of trial and error
I was starting to get restless legs alongside the other symptoms and thought it could be low Mg but it wasn't. That seems to have subsided too with the tablets. I really hope they stop making me feel tired though. I can't seem to get going at all....
The only long term medication I've ever been on is inhalers but I've weaned myself off them (long time ago now) so I was a bit wary hence why I've suffered so long. But I'll be grateful if the flushes go, the sleep comes to me, and my energy returns
.... Not too much to ask is it? 😆

Up early, out to the shops early...too early for some they were still closed 😆. Got our supermarket shop for the week ahead (last one of march) and popped to bandm and got some herbs. I didn't want to miss out on them as last time I went they'd all gone ...for herb beds that DP is outside making a start on now 👏🏼😁. Can't wait to start planting. Dropped DS off to his girlfriend so will watch TV until he is ready to be collected. Once again he's thinking he can walk home and make GF walk back with him...it's six miles along an A road 🤦🏻‍♀️ god help me he's stressing me out with the thinking there is zero risks with anything thing. I've made it very clear he must ring me when done (they're at a nature reserve atm so hoping he has good enough signal!)

Right off to grab something to eat and put something on to watch. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

DP made a good start on the raised beds. I'm not sure if they're a bit big now two are done and side by side though 🤔. It might be because they're not painted and empty still....am thinking bigger the better? But maybe not. I think we've changed our mind on the height of them and only gone up one board height rather than two. I think they're plenty big enough as they are. And it will be cheaper on compost/ top soil to fill smaller ones, even with plenty of stones and wood to go at the bottom.

I've got work today and I think we're getting very close to the next holiday now thankfully. Yes I just checked 😀 8 more days at work for me! 2 more weeks then 2 weeks off! Countdown can begin now...

I'm hoping for a NSD today, and I've already achieved one of my goals I set myself this year, I've read 12 books already. Not only achieved it but found my love of reading again 👏🏼😁.

I watched it ends with us after having read the book. As per usual with these adaptations from books, I thought the film didn't do the book justice and I felt big things were missed out. I watched it though and DP came in half way through and asked if I found watching the abuse parts hard, I don't though..I've done so much healing on my own and self reflection and forgiveness work, I watched it for what it was. Felt empathy for the characters obviously but didn't feel affected. The adolescence one affected me more because it was so recent! Progress for me. I wouldn't have been able to watch that years ago without sobbing and being thrown into flashbacks. 🙂

So I've got a nice rainbow salad for lunch and bought some ready chopped tofu. I've bought nuts and other healthy snacks for lunches and I'm on a health kick (again). I already eat healthy for around 80% of the time. 10% is okay (perhaps a bit too salty sometimes) and not too bad and then because of my lack of energy lately that 10% of junk has grown and grown and grown until I'm not sure really where my diet is at at the mo. I've just been craving sugar and things to temporarily perk me up. So going to try and go back to my basics and what I know works for me and cut that sugar down. Once my tablets have stopped making me feel dizzy and tired I will start fasting again. I was worried it would have affected my cholesterol as I've read it can be bad for you but my cholesterol was spot on, he said very good in fact so I don't think the fasting would have had any long term affect so I want to go back to it. It helps with energy as well as weight which has been creeping on.

Right lunches and get ready for work I guess.

Thanks @slm6002 I have been onto the Dr website to request a referral for a hearing test. Hopefully that will come through without me needing to go in as the wait for that is so long?! I will keep hold of the appointment I made in a couple of weeks for the ear cleaning for now and will cancel when I know I can get a free referral. 👏🏼☺️

I've emailed a local running club too for DS. Hoping they will take children. He can probably outrun half of them if it's the group that regularly run past us...but I understand for insurance purposes they're not always keen on kids joining groups these days.

I've also been very MS this morning and sewn up my work bag rather than buying a new one. 👏🏼 It had several holes in it and was ready for the bin. But I don't want to waste money on a new one just for work so it's all patched up now and I shouldn't keep losing pens, packs of tissues and even a water bottle slipped through one of the holes 🙄🤣🤣.

Right need to actually get ready for work now. 😆

I use a square make up bag to keep small bits like keys, comb, bus pass, pens etc together in my bag. Saves ferreting about all the time.
