We have a routine where I make the pancake batter and we each cook our own - that way we get equal dibs on the mix, your plate and the frying pan doesn’t get cold and it’s quite fun 😊 We’ve done it when people have come over for a meal too, as dessert. We had one young couple who’d never made pancakes and were a bit nervous - by the second round they were getting well into it 😊

That sounds fun KK! I think maybe next time I might try that. Both kids are old enough now to be trusted with the pan ...I think 🤣.
Otherwise I need another big pan as you say dawny babes....I just threw one away as everything was sticking to it (great idea in theory these non stick pans) that was my fave one too as it was so big.

Oh I forgot to say I didn't have to pay for parking at the orthodontist the sat nav took us in a different way and I remembered about a free carpark only a ten minutes walk from the surgery. So we went in there to find no spaces but someone was just walking in as we were about to drive out and he told me to follow him as he was leaving! Fab timing as Several cars before me had driven round and just left. That saved £3. Didn't need pain killers DD said the extractions yesterday didn't hurt anywhere near as bad as last week's one (she had a curved root or something so it took ages to come out!) the only spends today were DP buying flour but we took that from food budget so I will count today as a NSD. I also made a tenner selling a few booklets/cds I wrote & recorded to a friend. She uses them with her clients. Will pay that into the bank tomorrow. Also made £7 on surveys this evening but not ready to cash out yet.

Yesterday I made a £65 OP but should be able to get it up to at least £100 by end of the month from small sales and surveys. Every little helps on the interest right....

Work tomorrow and I'm getting a lift in (so saving on small trip in car as DP said it's not good for the engine) I would have walked but my foot is hurting again today, I think it was too much standing in one place yesterday at work and then the dentists.

Banks are all looking ok but we are only a week into the month. Hopefully I can say the same by the last week of the month 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️...one day I will be able to! It's my goal...

Morning all, it's Thursday already I can't believe it. My day off flew by. I've been good all week and been meditating every day for at least half hour and an hour if I've had time. I thought it would be difficult to do as I've not done regular meditation in such a long time. But it's like riding a bike...🙏🏻😊. And I notice the more I'm spending time doing things for me the more opportunities the universe is sending my way to do with things I love. I'm quietly manifesting things in the background too, I've become very self-aware about a few habits that have held me back lately and working on releasing those.

Today I've got a lovely group I'm with so I like my Thursday. I'm getting a lift into work though not walking as my foot is playing me up again..I might need to go and get it looked at as it's on and off with the pain. I'm unsure if it's nerve pain or what but it's very random when it hits.

Right best go get ready for work. Aiming for another NSD.

Feeling very tired today. Gotta push through and make it to 4 then can relax for a couple of days. I should hear from the docs today if the blood tests came back with anything low. If not then I won't hear apparently....and if nothing is untoward then I don't know what else I can do to try and fix this low energy, tiredness and meno symptoms.

We had the guy come round for the conservatory pricing. It is cheaper than the extension via builders and separate contractors. By quite a bit. It's started lots of discussion on what we can do to make the downstairs work for us.
We're just getting to a point where we have spare cash and can perhaps look at holidays and paying down the mortgage more seriously so it's a toss up as to what we want to do going forward, put that money into making the house work for us and making it feel like our home or abandoning any works and going ahead with what we planned. We'll keep talking we will come to some sort of agreement/ decision/ plan I'm sure.

Hoping I have some energy for tomorrow as we want to go out and start planning the garden (which aside from plants and compost/ top soil should be relatively cheap to do as we have SO much stuff in the garden to repurpose!)

If the dr can’t find anything wrong it might just be your body needs time to adjust to your new life, recuperate after moving home and being ill. Plus the menopause is a real b@!:h to deal with. Sending virtual hugs

Well Dr have text asking to make an appointment. 19th was the nearest one 🙄. I made it and then rang on my break to see if I was able to change it to a phone appointment sooner. No, Dr wants to see me face to face. Okay someone calm me please, now I'm feeling all sorts of anxiety. My good friend who lives close to me has been to Drs about hrt in the last week (we're same age) and they refused her an appointment and referred her on to a meno clinic...but do different Drs do things differently? Feel super stressed about it I was just expecting a prescription for iron or B12 or something 🫤🤔....

    NSD...so far....

If it’s B12 I had to see the dr and then had to have injections every other day for 2 weeks. First one given by dr and then nurses took over.

Perhaps it's that then. I was asking the nurse more about hrt than anything else but maybe that's not what's wrong. Perhaps it's just low something. Was hoping for a phone appointment to just get it sorted. Now I've got to wait three weeks for that then possibly longer if they want to refer to meno clinic or wherever else. Sigh....I'm kinda glad they've confirmed there is something not quite right though as I'm so tired this isn't normal for me 🥲
