Another arrangement made in the dmp with a sold-on debt 👏. Just one more to go now.
Not been up to much, I've had a nasty pain in my heel, feels like I'm walking on rocks when I put my foot to the floor. Drs next week to hopefully give advice on it.
Taking the bunny for a groom tomorrow. We usually do it ourselves but he's got a clumpy bit of hair just by his ear and I'm frightened I'm going to hurt him.
Will be introducing a new savings pot - it's for going out days. This is something I have overlooked in the past, might seem silly but I've always paid for it later and then ended up short. We're going to Manchester and Liverpool in October, then an evening out in London in December so need to start saving for them.
Not sure why I do this but I keep applying for credit and obviously getting turned down. It's like I feel I need to keep trying to be accepted or something. Don't want/need credit but it's like a compulsion 😟.
Washing on the line today, nice and sunny down south.
So excited that I'm getting a smart meter installed at the end of the month. This will stop the mass anxiety I get from opening the shed door and seeing 🕷️ everywhere 😁.

Been thinking about why I keep feeling the need to apply for credit and think it may be because I'm always the one who is expected to sort things out/pay for them, so I always need money, even when I haven't got any. Sounds mad I know but it is true
Took a trip to IKEA this last week and got a couple of new units for the sitting room. Another visit pending.
Must get to the tip this week - clear the garden before the aggregate goes down over the membrane. Then need to purchase planters. It's certainly taking shape out there.0 -
Hi white bunny I got turned down for all credit all the way through my dmp and even afterwards for a fair while. Do you have an emergency fund? This is what helped me through the years of no credit available..I had pots for everything and a small EF.

Hi debtfreewannabe321, I've not got an emergency fund and I know this is crucial. I am really trying to put money aside for things rather than struggle at the time I need the cash, if you know what I mean. I know the big things I've got coming up so am actively saving for them. Having written down income and outgoings I should be able to save a reasonable amount each month but it never pans out that way, which is totally down to me wasting money - a habit I need to change. I read once that a person's wealth isn't determined by their salary, but by their spending, and it's true.
I've made a start on the downstairs toilet re painting but not sure of the colour now it's going on the walls it's an oatmeal kind of colour, also, might sound strange, but it doesn't smell like paint, more like porridge 😟. I've bought the same brand for the kitchen in tea green and am unsure now whether to go for it or swap brand to something like Dulux - which is more expensive. I should know by now that when I try and do stuff on the cheap it always costs me more in the long run.
Gonna be a scorcher today, will get the bedding washed and on the line soon and do housework before it gets too hot 🥵.0
