  • Another beautiful day! Went for a lovely ride and did a few chores and washing. Now chilling cooking some sort of roast, a proper one tomorrow. And lots more chores. Feeling very content, hopefully this vibe will continue! Need to get fuel and xmas tree tomorrow or very soon! Otherwise all good. Need a bit of xmas shopping motivation and organising but maybe next weekend for that.

  • I have done horse riding since I was a kid!

I ordered some heavenly feet boots from simply be with their black friday discount code. Excited for them to turn up! Ordered two different wide fit sizes and will send back whichever doesn't work.
Oh how funny - I had never heard of this brand before. Went to a car boot sale and bought a brand new pair for £10! I don't even know if that's a good deal or not - off to google it!

  • A very thoughtful and reflective day today. The anniversary of loss that changed my life forever. I think about it often of course. This year it does feel a little different and I think now I don’t have DMP, toxic hang ons etc.. I feel more back to where I should have been and where perhaps without that loss I would have been- a little more anyway. Who can say. But it’s a big anniversary and I am just going to decorate the tree with DS1 (DS2 not wanting to) then head to bed and just have a quiet reflection on where I am… and the huge struggles I’ve overcome to be here and hard hard work put in. Sometimes when I sort of have to contextualise some of the history for people who don’t know they are dumbstruck and I feel a disconnect from it, like a previous episode/xmas special of a soap opera. But it’s all a fundamental part of where I am now.
A big part of feeling ok about it is loading all the positives and self care and lessons learnt. And my boundaries are so strong and I feel the strongest I have for a very long time.
    💪🏼❤️
