If I get the hat trick I’ll feel like I’ve got my life so together 😆
Paperwork is everywhere right now. Sock drawers are too small for the socks. And pots and pans ...they also overspill so much that they fall out every time I go in there. 🤣 I will watch and wait to see if you manage the hat trick later! It might spur me on to get one of these things done...Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

Payday and no building bill to pay 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 sorting salary into pots and meal plan shopping done. Not even fancying a takeaway later (yet!) as I’d rather save that money for DMP over payment pot. Think I can nicely do this month financially 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 and only 3 more standard payment's regardless to DMP (plus a £47!). Least money spent all year on groceries last month, meal planning, routine shopping and no popping into Tesco/co op on the daily and sticking to it really helped. Lets be having you October! Though it is half term (2 weeks) but I have budgeted for it. Woooop. Not so Wooo is that blasted sock drawer and kitchen cupboard, on my hit list still! Day off today so gonna try tackle those!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

Went to bed last night and had not done the sock draws so I emptied them into the bed, sat in bed watching Bob Mortimer on WILTY clips laughing and sorting socks, a good way to do it! Kitchen cupboard today, long dog walk, all the washing. Budgeted for next few months, to try and save some of that money I’ve been spending on building to go to EF and overpayment pot and xmas!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

A very productive day.. while procrastinating on that pots/pans and Tupperware cupboard, which is still not done 😆😅 I hoovered and mopped all the floors, cleaned outside front windows, inside bedroom window, all washing done, walked and bathed dog, cleaned the very grimey front of the oven (not ready to do inside!) and I mowed the lawn! Satisfied and happy 😊Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

A final hurrah of productivity… sent a step = £60 to DMP overpayment. Got a shop delivered today, one in the bag for next week and doing the following weeks online too. I’m sticking to meal plans and with the groceries down and meal planned I’m ridiculously optimistic about sending overpayments to DMP… perhaps weekly!? Could it be possible?!? Let’s see 🤔🤗😬🤞🏼🎉Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

Today I walked dog, did the usual bits and bobs, nothing over and above and then had a nap! Balance is key! Also I’ve started a notes/log on my phone of spendings aside from bills. I made a few purchases today that I’m hopeful will save me money in the long run (dog grooming clippers for one!) but I also spent too much in the damn co op on snacks the DS’s wanted which could of been 0.5 of a step! I am so annoyed about those little shops! It’s just life with hungry offspring but when I have a shopping delivery at home it feels such a waste. I did scrimp on dinner though, leftovers that I stretched. Aiming for no co op/tesco ‘little’ visits for the rest of the week. 🤞🏼Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 97/550

Fingers crossed you can stay away from little shops. It's so easy to do though and never as little as we hope.
