Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!8 -
VNM had a well worn pair of jeans that were much loved and finally ripped. I thought they were beyond repair but for £1 bought a pair of jeans at the local charity shop (it has £1 days to sell off the clothing when they get overwhelmed) and using those and the wonder web stuff (left over from getting curtains to fit) and a needle and cotton I have managed a very reasonable repair. I then used some left over fabric to patch my denim shorts which I only really wear around the house but was going to throw away.
Really pleased with my frugal repairs.
