I hope you get a good offer - and if you do, make sure that the details of the consultancy (role, hours, pay etc) are clearly set out - ideally as a handover so that the bulk of the time is up front. It needs to be worth your while!

Sounds like you did all you possibly could to keep the sale going forward the way you want it to😍. Fingers crossed they come back with a good offer, but you know that if they don't it doesn’t matter too much. Which from your perspective makes it a whole lot less stressful!
Now to have a restfull weekend and not think about it too much!!
