I have bought the very very colourful bedding along with 2 vibrant pink cushions. (The store had one set left). I will need to find some very restrained blue curtains now. The bedding is probably me 30 years ago LOL The second set of bedding is white with a navy blue trim. A complete contrast, I think the calm restrained is more me but I really want to try living with something a little outrageous.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Ooooh, picture please. I love ott colours. Im not a restrained beige preference person although I can appreciate how calming these colours are. But given the option id always go for the one with 6 bright colours 🌈 lol22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈2⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. Every day is a special occasion. Nothing calm and understated here

Have also bought two oblong velvet cushions for the bed in shocking pink. I love it, not quite sure what happened to my all white understated calming room with the odd hint of blue but this is what I now have gone for.
Downstairs is now further chaos but I have at least a tape measure so I can measure the windows for some roller blinds until I get to curtains although I have seen a fabric that I'm considering for downstairs

(they also do ready made curtains in this but I'm not sure they are the right sizes plus I need a blind for the window that sits on the stairs (literally)
Again my completely neutral restful colours ideas seem to have left the building.

Much much cheaper to buy ready made - I used to make curtains so I know how long they take to do22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈2⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. I think those curtains are not incompatible with a restful environment- they are rather nice and sort of william morrissy luxe feel.Watty1 said:

I'm a bit jealous!4 -
I agree with @Viking_mfw, the curtains have a classy William Morris feel
The bedding is marvellous, love that teal green colour. Quite Joe Brown's, very trendy!5 -
Ooh we have a pair of Lucetta curtains in our bedroom, we love them (ours are the mauve colour, ready made).4

I LOVE that duvet set!! 🤩
I have a set very similar, with flowery curtains and a flowery light shade! 😉 I know it sounds like overkill but the walls are grey (I think faded from a pale blue that they were painted years before we moved in, so unintentionally trendy! 😂) and I have accidentally harmonised by having purple black out blinds, a touch of purple in the curtains, and a touch of purple in the glass lightshade. Makes me happy anyway, and it means Mr KK can have elephants or tigers or cammo colours on his bedding without debate! 😂😂😉
