Perhaps you need to take control of the situation now that you've identified a better outcome by keeping going. Set a date in stone that if she's not committed to purchase by X date, you will be withdrawing the opportunity and pursuing a different direction, and will NOT be dealing with her again. Further procrastination on her part is no longer an option.

@greenbee and @rtandon27 , the person spec says must love dogs, be a horse whisperer, able to drive at least a quad bike and preferably a tractor (and tow a horse box) - oh, and a whizz at whatever it is the company does. Bonus if you can lug aggregate around, understand soil structure and like tidying tack rooms.
It's really food for thought, @Watty. You have me questioning whether I should stay with a small but sometimes exasperating role - but that's a much smaller choice than yours! Whatever you choose, could you arrange it so that it doesn't drain you? If you keep it on, don't let the wealth be at the cost of health.

Well that seems all problems solved then ☺️
WattyDog needs company, he is getting very lonely I think, even when I'm working and so only next door in the office (he can't come in the office because the cat food and litter tray are there and he eats both). So any role will involve fussy WattyDog and playing gently with balls, sticks and stones. Gently because his hind legs are gradually getting weaker and weaker so I'm cautious on the play now but he still loves it and is just such a happy dog.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!11 -

Stinky is putting in his application for the job as I type… He's very fed up as I keep abandoning him to go and visit my mum in hospital. The cats are also unhappy about the poor service.
