Blimey, I feel better about my mix up on 23rd December and being sent an appointment for the wrong hospital now. I of course, did not register the subtle wording difference and went to the "right" hospital where they have my records but had no appointment. Now in the "wrong" doctor loop of the system I am using my calendar to know when to nudge them, when my next scan isn't scheduled!
You are doing well to stay on top of things. Let's hope you get a call for tomorrow, because they will be sure where the gap is that needs filling

maybe I don't see to much of a problem with it. All those attending live saw that I am human, that mistakes happen and that the world does not end. I just laughed and said i didn't do the tech stuff and would be lost without PA.
I would rather be human. There is a lot of "imposter syndrome" around and I have it too - and I panic that I cannot teach this material and that I am not good enough and allowing myself to be human, admit that I don't do the tech and yet to tell the truth, that I am good at the stuff I am teaching seemed just fine to me.
Interestingly some asked a question about domestic abuse which was 'very left field' so I did pick up on it and mention that it was an area I was concerned about on many levels and that whenever it comes up in any context I will pause and explore it - and - I shared that in my opinion it should never be ignored and however loosely someone mentions it, those listening should honour it and check the person has resources and support and if not help them find it. Then I just returned to the actual topic of the day. I will pm the person today.

There is so much value in 'being human'. Fallibility and approachability are a good combination to have and to model. I'm glad you are going to pm the person. Whatever's going on, that support is huge.

Aww how lovely to have you sending me good wishes. Thank you CherryFudge, Ladybird, KK, Beanieou, Daisy and Brewers Pride. That was so lovely to see.
All done, care outstanding. Easily equal to the vet hospital, only thing missing was a chance to check in with surgeon before release but I should hear within the next 3 to 4 weeks and hopefully all will be well.
Apparently surgeries are not usually scheduled for the weekend and it was so quiet, relaxed and just lovely. Two nurses for the ward and really took their time with everyone, head surgeon came to chat with everyone and said he had a small team on and they were just surgeries one after the other but he wanted to say hi before the list began just such a nice experience, if one can say that about going into hospital for a small operation.
Home for a sandwich meal and early night. Apparently if I take it easy today I should be back on form tomorrow, so muck out (with help) turn horses into field, play with WattyDog and a film on sofa I think.
