Watty's Awakening

As I watched my little herd of three come in from the field to their stables last night I realised I had spent the day feeling worn down by people dumping their problems on me and it all seemed overwhelming. As pointed out on here those were not my problems. (Thank you) A nice dinner (salad, fish and lentils) and half a glass of wine (all that was left) a hug with each pony and WattyDog then an early night. Simple joys and I feel much better this morning.
I have a full week ahead. Workwise I have planned out the week with a list of what must be done and what should be done and house wise the skip is going on Wednesday. Now to pop something in the slow cooker for dinner this evening.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Definitely not your problems it is fine to help friends but they do have to stand on their own feet at some point it is not your responsibility. Shame about the fell pony but you will find a solution good things come to good people so something will come along and be the right fit even if you have to wait.
It will be lovely to have the skip removed making the house even more you. Also very exciting about the plans to build a small house on the land good luck with finding the right fit to help you. I agree the person who wrote that does not want the job.Save £12k in 25 No 49

You are sounding positive. Your plans for a small house on the land are exciting. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have hair. Fabulous hair. I went to pick up the two pieces today and I love the blond one so much, blond with very subtle pinky brown flashed through it, longer than I have worn my hair for years. It is gorgeous. I have grinned since leaving the salon. This piece can be styled with curling whatever they are (I have not been able to do that for years) and worn up and tied back and is just fabulous. We stopped for lunch on the way home and then I went to a zoom meeting where everyone knew me, and in a very professional environment, a few said "love the hair"
I also bought the piece that just looks like my hair, only thicker. It is the same colour, and just clips in. I need to train it more apparently by brushing it and clipping it in place a few times and then it will fall naturally as this one is not so easy to use heat on to style.
I will need to practice clipping both pieces in I am sure but this is a huge I have wanted to do something about my hair for a few years now. No one would realise these are fake pieces unless I say something. Very happy.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
