Big decision to move area but you do what is important to you might be easier to sell without the land attached or could you rent the house and also the yard and you go and live elsewhere rented obliviously just to make sure it is the right decision with the new area. That is the bit I struggle with finding the right area as everything is about location not really the house.
I am not a horse person (my sister is) but your rides do sound lovely. Good luck in your decision making.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thank you all. PPH did get his overage deal on the land which is why I will rent it out not sell it, he will not see another penny from me.
Today got a bit derailed. I still feel wiped out and had some worrying symptoms so I went to GP and the receptionist told me this was nothing and to come back next week or go to A&E. I know enough to know that was the wrong answer, but the receptionists were just telling everyone to go away so I asked for the practice manager and was again, told to go away.
Came home and booked a private scan. Private clinic was appalled at the treatment and rang doctors to say I needed an urgent referral to a gyne specialist. Scan done. It may be something or nothing but a referral has now been made under a 2 week wait scheme so I should learn more soon. I have had a text to say referral done.
I am grateful I had the resources and the wit to to book the private scan. It was only £70 but I know for some people that would have been unachievable and the doctors surgery would have just sent them away time and time again as the place is notorious for not allowing appointments unless you queue up outside at 8.30 and even then often just turn people away. The place is a shambles.
Came home, did a bit of work, went to bed and fell asleep. Between this and my shoulder I feel a wreck. On the positive side, I have another osteopath appt next week, the referral has been made, it is Easter weekend and I'm going to try and box up a horse and go to the local forest to enjoy a nice day.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
I'm sorry you're having gynae worries, but as you say, count your blessings and thank yourself for being in a position to get it seen to. Fingers crossed for good and quick results. Maybe if you have a toss up considering next area to live in you could decide by the local GPs ratings, your Doctors' sounds a disgrace6

Our GP’s are amazing and it’s one of the reasons I currently wouldn’t move. A good surgery is priceless.Sealed pot challenge 822

That's just so wrong from the surgery. I'm glad you were able to book a scan and get it done so quickly. I've been in what could be a very similar position which turned out to be nothing to worry about, but of course it's best to be seen soon.

Agreed. It is so annoying when totally unqualified people seem to have the right to diagnose us. Mine have been great but I know many are certainly not.4
