It's good to hear you are feeling a little better and can get on with some work stuff and riding. Don't forget to schedule in some down time for your self - among other benefits, you will need to know how to relax once you retire!

Have a lovely ride on CC: all this sunshine should be good for both of you.

I have invested n another m/chef box for the week ahead simply because whilst I feel below par I'm not getting to meal plan, shop and prep like I need to and the week ahead is busy.  I know it is not really the 'retirement' prep I wanted but the first step to retirement is to sort my business and I want to get work a little more settled as whilst struggling with pain I've just not be working as much as I need to.
How much more would it cost to have takeaways every evening because you are too wiped out to cook? This is self care; you are cooking good food and reducing the pressures on your time

@CCW007 what a lovely way to think of it. Thank you.  The lack of thought but a good meal that is quick to prep has been so helpful when feeling wiped out.

@Suffolk_lass thank you for the insight.   I think the "who knows when it might change" has been, for me, key to coming to this decision.

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
