    It sounds like the trip was worth it. The renovations will be too, and will make the house into the kind of sanctuary your rental was. Having said that, I’m having a break from trades and putting up with the other things for a bit!

    Sounds like a very productive time, in terms of dental work (and understanding) and podcast and sign ups and good progress for the Fell.

    Regarding the house becoming a sanctuary, we had a lovely break at a farmhouse once and I was so impressed with how it was decorated and accessorised that I made notes. The aim is to make our place have some of the same vibe. A log burner and a big soft sofa went quite a long way in the right direction!
    I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
