BabyFell has been sat on. Just bareback with his headcollar. I arrived home yesterday from an afternoon tea party in a friends garden and found him and his person on the yard. I watched for a bit and almost cried as pony and human are so happy with each other. A lovely solution all round.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I had a fabulous weekend. I decided not to go to another of the countryside rural shows as I might bump into the ex and i would rather not. Instead I cleared the block paving patio which is really about the size of most peoples small gardens. I have been trying to find a "professional" to weed, clean and re-sand but having failed to do that I have weeded, swept and scraped the worst of the moss off with a scraper. It looks so much better. The grass has been cut and half of another bed weeded
Whilst clearing up in the field i found some old metal grid things. I've no idea what they were but the VNM cut each one in half. They are really rusty but I'm going to paint then fix to a wall so honeysuckle can grow. That is all on the list for this week/next weekend.
I've turned these missed shows into a positive as the garden is looking so much better, i haven't spent anything other than the stones for under the laurels, mostly it is all recycled stuff.

Up early this morning and moved all the furniture for the decorator. Will be a relief to get the last two rooms done then I can get the house as I would really like it. Paid the agriculture chap for his work and he is apparently back today to do a mega spray of the areas he has cleared so that they can, in a couple of weeks be harrowed and seeded. Slow progress.
Hoping I will somehow manage to get out on Charming Cob before end of day but work busy and the VNM's mother has now had a stroke and is in hospital. She is not good at all so I've been asking friends if they know anyone that would foster or maybe even keep her cat. The VNM off work so at least he can do all that needs to be done and i can just be supportive to him. Surprisingly he asked to take WattyDog out today and I've had pictures of WattyDog at a local huge park. I have warned him WattyDog will get in the lakeThe walk will probably do them both good.
