I'd imagine dates are high in fructose, so there would still be a sugar hit? Ribena and apple juice can also be sugar highs... but I like the idea of putting something into a wine glass to help psychologically!

Any dried fruit is a concentration of sugar. Better to eat a UK grown piece that is not too ripe or sweetened, or stick to berries. Blueberries are a good snack. Especially frozen, if you are an ice-cream fiend (like me!)

Ooh also, a good cleanser and skincare routine, in the hope you can avoid what happened to me when I gave up sugar once; skin went completely to pot! I was like 'put the toxins back in immediately!' 😂
