Hi. Everyone,
I hope you are all well. It’s about a month since I’ve popped in! I just could not get going to do anything.
I’ve not read any of the posts yet, but I will read them all.
We just came back from our holiday, a Norwegian cruise, on Wednesday. Weather not great and my arthritis was really bad (knees) before we left. Managed to get a doc appointment (phone) on Friday before we left and he prescribed very strong painkillers. Tried the first dose – felt sick, woozy and fell asleep for 4 hours. Didn’t feel a thing, lol, but it was time yo take the next lot, lol. After that I halved the dose, still had same symptoms, but not so drowsy but only a couple of hours of some pain relief. I decided to stick with that for the duration of hols but really couldn’t walk about anywhere for long. I had lots of books and crochet with me, but I couldn’t concentrate on anything. Got back and upped the dose gradually again and I seem to have sorted it out at last, thank goodness. Ach well it was a change of scenery and I did get out on 4 excursions. So that’s the end of my ‘pity party’ and I’m good to go again. And then the football – which I love – started 😠 Oh well, that’s life.
So, May’s Plans were
· Christmas Eve Wishes blanket - Finishing, Faces & Border (all those ends, ugh!) ✓
· Crochet shrug for younger granddaughter – almost finished
· 10 Christmas cards – nope!
· Birthday cards for friend’s 16yo granddaughter and for my son-in-law ✓
· Cat tapestry – nope!

I’m back on the crafting horse again, just, so here are my June plans We’re halfway through the month already, so it’ll be a challenge.
· finish the crochet shrug for younger granddaughter
· Christmas cards
· cat tapestry
· Bibliocat quilt panel – think it’ll be shrinking to cushion cover size, instead of wall hanging, lol
· crochet scrapghan

I love the blanket @greentiger
I have done another tree decoration, it still needs to be made up. There is a similar one with a dove that I have started. At some point I will do another angel, but there was a lot of counting, these are easier and more relaxing.

. My first try at mosaic. We pay £2.00 a week for craft club. £1.50 goes on tea or coffeeand 50p towards crafting materials. This cost around £10.00 per person but it would have been so much more expensive to do on our own. Next time I would put the pieces much closer together and maybe use, a different colour grout. Lots more, experimenting needed but very happy with it for a first try.
