This is early for me but my friend is moving house today and I'm so excited that I couldn't sleep. Going to do some baking now so there's some nibbles for the helpers.

Good afternoon, it's the most beautiful sunny day here and I shall be sorting plants in my new low maintenance garden. I like the garden looking good for me to sit out knitting. A gardener I am not 🤣.

Below is a pic of a baby set I've knitted - just to use up a couple of balls of wool from my stash. I have to say my DK drawer is emptying fast and I'll probably have to restock it before winter.

No crafting has happened as during our week off from SA - it has been Doctor and hospital visits with Mr F.

Hi all,

Jumping on as my financial situation is in the process of changing (DH is no longer DH) so a lot of belt tightening is required.  I quilt, make clothes and very slowly knit.  I don't make things to sell but to use ourselves or gift.

I am nearly finished a quilt for my campervan and was working on an artistic quilt to enter into the Festival of Quilts but with the current upheaval that is unlikely to be finished in time.  I will finish and submit next year.  I have a chest of drawers full of fabric and a crate full of wool (despite not yet actually finishing anything knitted), i have lots of embroidery thread and general thread.  I am hoping to see what I can make over the second half of the year without buying anything, I think time in my sewing room will be much needed in the coming months - wish me luck!

Just recently have made more doggy duvets- 14 to be precise! of those 4 have been sold & the rest being stored by a friend until a craft fair next month which she organises.
I am now down to 1 x 1/4 duvet & not inclined to campaign for more duvets just yet. 

Have had a foul cough & sore throat which lasted all of May & doesn't want to move on! so feeling a bit out of sorts... was even sewing in the middle of the night as I couldn't sleep....

I've also made quite a few more pyramids but haven't counted exactly how many! The second packet of zips is going down quite fast.
These are made from 1 x length of purchased bee fabric but I was given the other 3 designs: that's why my stash refuses to reduce!

I am busting my craft stash by decluttering and sending to the charity shop.
Lots of yarn, buttons and trims have gone.

 I really really struggle to part with craft things.........
