Thanks ladybird. He feels he's improving and the doctors have given him another course of medication. It has side effects and isn't for long-term use but it stops the boat from rocking, as it were. He has managed six months between courses recently, so we are hopeful for this again.
Oddly, I've been under the weather today with what feels like a kidney infection. Spent most of the day with a hot water bottle and went back to bed for the afternoon, but I've got the bedding washed and the ironing completed, and after resting, got myself to work and after about an hour, suddenly started to feel better.
Called into L1dl on the way home as I had a free pastry to claim, and ended up spending £12.32. Some of this was to make use of 15% off various things and some was to keep the cupboards stocked.
We have the grandchildren to look after tomorrow so I'll be off to bed soon.

I've been fine today thanks. Just one of those odd things, I probably won't find out what it was.
Alas, that's inflation for you. 😁 Or, more accurately, the lure of the discounts.
Today was child care day. The older one was under the weather but not enough to prevent her doing things. DH was unsure how his health would be, so I did the whole day alongside him, but in the event I think his problems have improved. He was able to collect the repeat prescription so if it is as helpful as last time, things should go on improving. We took met up with their cousin and her mum and took them all to the swings, then back home to have lunch and play. I may have achy arms tomorrow after pushing the swings and roundabout so much.
DD couldn't stay for the afternoon so we took the girls to the garden centre. The little one wanted to see the reindeer but they only appear at Christmas (phew - they are pretty ghastly singing heads!) so we looked for Easter bunnies instead, and went round the toy department. They collected arms full of soft toys but were very good and put them away again, then went to try out the wind chimes, which are lovely but rather loud. DS arrived home a bit early to give us an opportunity to get away in time for my work.
I had two hours of work after a quick tea of fishcakes, and DH gave me lifts both directions.
We called at the supermarket so there was a bit of grocery spending: £14.39. I don't know what most of that was about as it was probably DH calling at the shops while ostensibly collecting medication. £6.81 was us at Sains including me buying things on offer, but they were things we will use.

Wednesday: we both have the day off and it's sunny, so DH has gone for a walk. He did invite me but today's news seems to be hay fever and I'm trying to hold off having a tablet for it till later afternoon. They may be supposedly non-drowsy, and I can't say I actually feel drowsy after taking one, but around six hours after taking them, I'm struggling to keep awake. I'd rather that kicked in to fit in with something approximating bed time.
I have a number of admin things to do, and don't really know where to start. I've a Yahoo email that I've had forever and which has 39,000 unread emails! Obviously I'm not going to read all those. I do delete and unsubscribe, but it's not enough. I don't want to delete indiscriminatorily (is there such a word?), as there are receipts and personal messages in there. I can deal with the ones in files to some extent… but I need to get round to doing that, as Yahoo has sent a couple of emails to say they are limiting free storage to 1 GB from, I think, May 5th. I have over 4GB in use! And I don't need most of them.
There's also the question of whether to move money into an ISA - financially it would be a good idea but it all seems a bit overwhelming. I have an old ISA which is on a low interest rate so it would make sense to feed that into a better one. Also, the savings account that used to be a good rate is now mediocre, so that needs looking at. I should combine a couple of the former Christmas Saver accounts too, as one has a better rate than the other.
I still have a M1crosoft subscription which I set up when still considering office work and wanting to learn Excel and generally be more up to date. I'm not sure it's worth my keeping it as so much is available for free and it's coming up for renewal.
I cancelled Pr1me the other day: it had rolled over from the cheap rate advertised three months ago and was starting to charge me £8.99, which, considering I don't need it often, isn't worth paying regularly. They are refunding me this month's subscription. If the cheap offer comes up again, I would probably take it but see if I can pause it after the post-Christmas sales in the hope that the lower rate could then still be unpaused when next needed.
DH rang the AA and got the £273 membership reduced to £99, largely, he said, by taking DS2 off. DS2 has been self-sufficient for years so that was overdue.
There may be more, I'll add any that come to mind.
Meanwhile, with all this financial stuff potentially awaiting my wavering attention, I'm going to tidy out the bathroom cabinet in the hope of it looking less like a raid on a pharmacy, and finding the Olbas oil rather than buying a replacement for something I know we have.
And talking of pharmacies, ours informed DH that my GR aspirin is becoming hard to get and I need to talk to the GP about it. What? An appointment to discuss a cheap drug prescribed not to treat but to prevent? Our GP is very good - I'm thankful I've not had the issues reported elsewhere and it seems to be run very strategically with a view to the longer term - but I still feel that's somehow a mis-use of a precious appointment. However, I can't swap to ordinary uncoated aspirin as it sends the reflux into a tailspin.
And talking of tail spins - I don't think I'm likely to see one, but a middle-Eastern air force is playing in the skies over the moors. That's not a security breach: it's on Fl1ght Radar and I could hear them last night. They are really working hard today.
Back to the medical stuff: I had a reminder for a smear test so there's that to book, too. Doing that now, then it's time to go and sort the bathroom cabinet: it's a mess and there may be things to return to the pharmacy.

Can you change the order your emails are in. They are normally in date order but you can change it to sender order & then you can delete from a sender without thinking too much about each one.

Do you know, I hadn't even noticed I have that option! 713 gone in one go, before I even look at the next page full. Some were from 2004, a group long-unsubscribed. 😁
Thank you @badmemory !
Still hay feverish, but I've sorted the bathroom cupboard and have a bag of bits to go to the pharmacy. I'm going to wait a little longer for the hay fever medication but that's just about timing. There's no point being blocked up and streaming if I can help it.
DH clocked up 10,000 steps on his walk and is planning to try to fix the kitchen cupboard door. It baffles us: whatever we do, it sags again in a few weeks.

I was going to suggest searching for an unwanted sender too and it will bring up all of the emails from that sender that can then be deleted in bulk. I’ve never sorted via sender though so that’s something new I’ve learned too!
