washing brought in and ironed. The pillowcases w ere almost dry, the duvet cover will need a good air but all have been ironed.
Rabbit hutch set back up much to the delight of the bunnies who spent a while going in and out but they are now on the back munching through the pile of carrot tops etc which a neighbour has dropped off. I think he (neighbour) gets stuff from the market for them…which would otherwise be thrown away.
I’ve also emptied the last of the sack of food from the shed into the container in the kitchen.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Happy New Year to everyone. I'm another one who dislikes New Year (and I'm not overly keen on Christmas). Think I'm a cross between Scrooge and Eeyore! All the best to everyone anyway x7

I'm a bit meh about NY but glad to be having a fresh start.
Decorations all packed up, must get Mr F to put in loft. Vacuumed living room post-pack-away. Lots of candles lit for the extra light which I always miss when tree lights are gone.
TD still running, hopefully time for a new load. Going to be an odd week this week with Wed and Thur home alone in the day timeMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Xmas and NYE not my favourite times of year either
The Xmas tree has been taken down and all decs packed away, another year survived.
I'm sat here with a coffee and an immense sense of relief that "it's all over" for another year - yeah definitely relate to being a Scrooge & Eeyore at this time of year - don't forget the Grinch as well.
This year I would like to learn to live with my anxiety, depression & ptsd (plus other physical conditions) without fighting with them all the time - be more accepting and "it is what it is" iykwim. I also want to exercise more to deal with my ever increasing arthritis - yoga sounds good.
Flying today: dailies; tree down; wmx1; tdx1.
Happy New Year to everyone and here's to 20246 -
Hi all
I was in a terrible mood yesterday, really anxious about work, fed up about DHs health issues and worried about DS1 who I know is struggling at the moment. I gritted my teeth and did family stuff but I just wanted to go to bed.
Today feels better. We have had a nice lunch with parents and spent some precious family time together. DS2 is 23 tomorrow and we were going to the coast but it's supposed to pour down, we don't have a plan B yet.
I have sorted some washing, put some recycling in the appropriate boxes, hoovered downstairs and emptied and loaded the dishwasher again. I have also helped DS1 sort some of his Christmas stuff.
Trying my best to start 2024 in a positive frame of mind. One step at a time. Fayolle, I love my yoga, this year I want to learn a bit more about mindfulness/meditation which I find really hard to do.
Happy New Year all, thank you for being by my side, here's to a happy and peaceful year ahead x9
