It was a really lovely shop to have a nosey around so many thanks for the recommendation!  Found another nice one today on a trip across the Black Isle 😃. In Muir of Ord there is a nice chazza called Blythswood Care, a Christian charity.  Again a well set out shop with friendly assistants and some nice things but rather expensive.  Bought a large M & S smelly candle for £3.  (So thrilled to see 🐬and 🦭 today from our AirBnB in Fortrose 🥰

Is that across the street from the library? I went in there and picked up some nice kids bits, my niece was only a baby then! I also liked Grantown-on-Spey (not far from Nairn, in The Cairngorms) as a town, but don't remember seeing a chazzer there.

@Brie - the two scarves from the other day (bright golden sequins, and golden damask) plus another shawl-type fine-knit scarf that I cannot wait to get laundered and start using:

Yes…over the road from the Community Cafe, (yummy cakes)!.  Lurve the dark red scarfy/wrappy wotsit.  Isn’t that burgundy shade supposed to be ‘on trend’ this autumn?

Miro, if you get chance, go to Strathpeffer, there are lovely walks around there.

@goldfinches. It's been 'blowing a hoolie' all the time here so the pics have been rubbish sadly.☹️

Off to Strathpeffer today, (thanks Floss!), then back for more dolphin watching this afty.  The best time seems to be when the dolphin watching boat comes out as the dolphins seem to love to frolic and play around the boat.  (Do they feed them I wonder)

Did a long run to John O'Groats yesterday, (well you have to don"t you?). Passed several of those nice chazza shops like the one in Inverness, all looking very inviting but all shut for lunch or other reasons!  

There are dolphins and seals out there, honest! (view from cottage)
