Good morning Lovely Ladies. 

Well sorry to say I am decidedly unfab today😟.  I have a heavy cold and am feeling like death warmed over.  

Oh well I will just put everything on hold and have a sofa day with a couple of films to cheer me up.  

Nothing much happening on the house front, just waiting on solicitors etc.  these things just drag on  at their own pace and there's not much I can do to hurry things along.  

Hope you are all well and not struggling too much with the weather.

Yes moving takes forever, especially with Christmas approaching. I read once the average is 6-9 months from making the offer to actually moving.  Our neighbours across the road sold there's back in May, but still not completed yet

Oh dear Helen. Hope your cold is much improving. There are so many have had this cold and terrible long-lasting cough. It really drags you down. Hugs for a speedy recovery and good news on your move.

Good Morning Lovely Ladies 

just a quick catch up.  I can't believe it's December already and Christmas is almost upon us.  I've done nothing yet. Need to get a grip. Lol. 

Thankfully my cold is now gone and I'm feeling much better,  still a bit tired and lacking energy but I think that's just my usual winter lethargy. Lol.  

Seem to making good progress with the house purchase,  everything seems on track, so far so good.  I'm sooooo looking forward to getting my "forever home". 

Still trying to keep up with the fabbing, still not losing any weight.  Must try harder.  Ha ha.

Just popping in to wish you all well and have a wonderful Christmas of however you choose to have it. My build up to it is very slow again this year and still not getting on with as much as really need to do. 

I will be back here again in 2025 for more fabbing and being the best I can be with the help of @helensbiggestfan giving backside kicks when needed

Hello Everyone.  

don't worry Scratters, I'm sure you will be Christmas ready when the time comes......please remember it doesn't have to be a "perfect Instagram worthy" affair.  I used to really work myself into a frazzle trying to make everything perfect. I used to run myself ragged and would often end up ill and exhausted.  Thankfully I saw the light and I'm now much more "chilled". 

This year I have taken relaxing into the festive season to a new level. I have done most of my gift shopping courtesy of Amazon.   And for once I don't feel guilty about all those cardboard boxes because I can repurpose them for my upcoming house move.  Win-win.  Lol 

I'm all for "effortless simplicity" these days.........I used to love the Christmas crowds but oddly enough they just don't appeal any more.  A sure sign I am getting old......👵🏻  so I sit with a coffee and my credit card and hit the buy now button.  Job done. 

I am getting my hair cut tomorrow.    Not quite decided on my Christmas Day outfit yet. Will it be my "Santas Little Helper" knitted dress or maybe something a bit more glamourous.  Im noticing that there are an awful lot of sequins around this year. Pity my sequinned jacket is a bit too snug this year.  I really must lose some weight.  

That's my goal for 2025.........

Good  Morning Lovely Ladies. 

How are we all.  It's very quiet on here.  Are you all rushing around like headless chickens trying to get ready for Christmas.  I am actually pretty chilled this year. For once I am organised and even ahead of myself.   Mind, I think it helps that I am not cooking or hosting.  It certainly takes a load off my shoulders.  I might host something on New Year's Day. See how it goes.  Although I really want to get cracking on packing up this house asap, in readiness for the move.

Had my hair cut the other day and today I intend to have a bit of an at home spa day.  Feel like I need a pamper session.  

It's the winter solstice on Saturday. 💃.  And then we can look forward to the days starting to lengthen again.  It's not too bad today. I can actually see a small patch of blue sky "enough to make a pair of sailors trousers" as my aunt used to say. Lol. It's been so gloomy here of late, nothing but grey skies. 

This house is decorated in shades of grey (not 50 lol) and I find it so depressing in the winter.  I definitely need more colour in my life.

Good morning @helensbiggestfan. I am pretty organised for Christmas - I only have a few people that I buy for and that is all done, and my cards have all been posted. Going to spend Christmas with family members - it's forecast to be 37 on Christmas Day where I will be in Oz so we will be having a cold Christmas lunch. We have always done this because of the weather, the only thing we have hot is the pudding! My mother always used to say there was nothing worse than slaving over a hot stove when we are in the middle of summer and she refused to do it!

That's it ........the turn of the year........cannot believe how quickly this year has gone.  It's just flown by.  It's been a strange one. Some successes, some failures. I set myself a task to lose weight this year and failed miserably.  Lol.  

Oh well, tomorrow is another day, as they say. And next year will be a fresh start.  

Again....😂🤣. 

At least I got my teeth fixed.
