Good Morning Lovely Ladies.Day 7 of the dreaded campylobacter. Still feeling below par, but apparently it can take a couple of weeks to fully clear the system so I'm not too concerned. Just feel utterly drained.Managed to do a bit of food shopping yesterday, a case of needs must even though I didn't feel up to it. And today trying to catch up with some cleaning. That's the problem when you live alone and fall ill, there is no one to help, you just have to soldier on as best you can. The boys would come to the rescue obviously if really necessary but I am managing well enough, after a fashion. 😂🤣.Anyway did some online shopping, two pairs of linen trousers to take me through the summer - when it arrives. 😁. I believe it's due imminently. Lol. Then today I have taken up Amazon on some of their sale offers...a soup maker, a food processor and also restocked my vitamins, otc meds and toiletries.I have been living on soup and it's not something I'm good at making so have been buying the stuff. So expensive and of course no comparison in taste to home made and probably not that healthy or nutritious either. I thought that as they were on offer I would buy a soup maker and see if that improved my culinary efforts. My food processor died a while ago, finally got round to replacing it. Should help with food prep, especially when my fibro is bad.Still need to do a big shop. The thought of dragging round Aldis whilst still feeling so delicate is rather overwhelming so I think I might I try an Ocado shop later. As you can see trying to find ways to make life easier . Luckily all my finances, bill paying etc are fully automated so one thing less to worry about. Being out of action this week has impressed upon me the need to set up systems to keep my life running smoothly for times when I am not at the top of my game.Chiropodist tomorrow. It's only local so hopefully I can keep the appt. I have had to cancel so many appts and outings. Hey ho. I'll get there.5

Hello My Lovelies.I'm feeling fat, frumpy and very fed up. Lol. But on a positive note my tummy has finally settled down. It was a bit of a marathon, two weeks of feeling absolutely rotten. Hey ho, these things happen. So it's back to the drawing board. A new start - again.......Whilst being so poorly and stuck at home it has made me realise how it's really time I found somewhere more permanent to live. I really need to start house hunting very soon, although it won't be next week. I've got a busy week ahead, so I'm hoping to start viewings the week after. This house is fine but I'm starting to find it a bit cramped and a bit claustrophobic. It was a good job I trialled downsizing by renting a small property because it's made me realise I don't want to go quite as small with my forever home. I would have been making a big mistake by buying a house like this. Anyway in readiness for moving I have started gently decluttering. So a bag for the chazzer is now sitting ready to go. It's a start. Some good news......my final implant post is now fully embedded and ready to take two crowns in a couple of weeks. Then hopefully that will be it for a while.A good job well done as my dad used to say.....😁4

Glad you are starting to feel better. Renting for a while has been a good move to allow you to come to the decision that a smaller property is not for you. You will be so pleased when your dental treatment is finally finished. Think of me on Tuesday - I have a dental appointment for root canal treatment.2

So glad you’re recovered and implants going well @helensbiggestfan Good luck house hunting and glad you know these things before. I’m sure there’s a good one out there. I do love my home so much. I have a bit more effort to get the small garden how I want it.. little steps.. some shrubs have been moved a few times, one more move to come. However I water and feed them heaps to make up for the disturbances 😂
good luck @OpalGirl

Thanks @helensbiggestfan and @artistlifestyle - pleased to say the root canal treatment went well, although sitting in the dentist chair for over an hour is not my favourite way to pass the time. Next step is a crown but need to wait a month for the infection to fully settle down before that process.3
