I can't recommend a natural deodorant as I always use the Dove stick one and purchased a batch of about five a while back so am working my way through them.  I have been thinking for a while about trying Fussy which is the one that was on dragon's den.  It says its a natural deodorant and is 'the UK's best eco deodorant'.  Will be interested to find out if anyone has used it and what they think.  I like the fact that they are refillable so less waste.  It seems they do a sensitive one too.

So true about colour, I think a lot of us defaulted to black for a long time, especially when it was the thing to wear a suit to the office.  These days I have very little of it in my wardrobe, but I have lots of colours.  I feel so much brighter and more confident in a lovely colour.  Even better if its preloved and that dress was a bargain.  I also feel more relaxed when an item hasn't cost so much, maybe I don't have to worry about spilling something down it.

I can't get along with naural deodorants as they seem to pull on my skin too much. I just use a spray one from Superdrug.

I am in a bit of pain today as I went for an initial consultation for the lump on my fingertip yesterday and as I was early he said he could do it that day. The injection hurt quite a bit! I said to him that I thought the cyst was related to getting my engagement ring resized, but he said it wasn't. But then they said that there was another woman who was there after me and she had a lump on her ring finger to be removed. I think I will play it safe and keep my rings on the necklace.

I am going to have a bath and do a facial in a minute. I did lots of steps yesterday and Monday, but today I am taking it easy.

All good here.  Just been doing some online shopping. Which brings me to ask for recommendations for a good deodorant/antiperspirant for sensitive skin.  As I get older I am noticing that my skin is becoming increasingly more dry and sensitive. Deodorants that I have previously used with no issues are making me sore, despite supposedly being formulated for sensitive skin...
I was with my BC support group yesterday, and 2 of the ladies are using Tropic's deodorant. Another is using Fussy, and I use Wild (I got the case & several refills on an offer, but I've seen refills on sale in Superdrug).

Well I finished my 2nd lot of antibiotics last week, they really helped but it seems to be coming back.  I'm so fed up of it.  I've been referred for a chest xray so doctor is trying to help.  The last six months have been awful and I just want to feel OK.

Feeling sorry for myself so just ignore me.

Haven’t deluked for a long time but still follow this thread with joy.  I swapped to fussy in December to try it although was a bit sceptical as always needed antiperspirant. As well as deodorant.   I think it’s brilliant.  Love the case and smell, although you  can get many different ones.  It’s not sticky at all and best of all it lasts ages…I  bought the offer of three and one case and started using December 9th.  First refill lasted me three months and I am still on my second so that’s going to be three months too.  I won’t be going back to any other one, I highly recommend - at least it works well for me.

    Good Morning Lovely Ladies.

Thank you the deodorant recommendations.  You seem to be fairly unanimous so I have ordered a starter pack of Fussy.  😁.

Well after moaning about having no success in the chazzas I lucked out yesterday.  Three tops and one sweater £1 each.  Nearly bought a dress for £2.50 but forgot. I put it back whilst browsing and then forgot all about it.  Might pop back today.

Pixie..... moan away......  Hope you get some answers soon.  Sending you some 💐

Yesterday was a bad one for pain. My knee sometimes feels like it's disintegrating. Lol.   I am not helping myself by carrying too much weight. Pain makes it difficult to exercise, not enough exercise leads to more pain.  It's a vicious cycle, I need to break it and replace it with a circle of virtue.  Thinking about acupuncture.....

It's been quite chilly again.  One day of warm sunshine on Sunday and then back to chilly wind and low temperatures.

    Food shopping today.....will I need a mortgage. 😂🤣.

Thank you Helen.  Have you tried one of those knee supports?  My husband has one that wraps round the knee and then fastens with velcro and he swears by it, having said that he has so much pain with his back condition I'm surprised he notices anything else.

I swear by elasticated supports purplepixie.  I've got ankle ones - like little ankle socks in a beige colour, and I have a knee one.  You can get them in Boots/Superdrug or the pound shops do them too.  They seem to hold things in place and provide a bit of warmth.  Wish I could find one for my back pain, but I'm luck mine isn't constant and a warm wheat bag usually sorts me.

Will be interested in how you get on with Fussy, Helen.  Its definitely on my shopping list now too.  I do tend to buy more sustainable/natural products now and they can be more expensive.  But I agree that food shopping feels like it is off the charts recently.  It doesn't seem that long ago we were spending £50/week on a family of three - its three or four times that now, although we do have a cat with a special diet and I do feed the birds quite a lot.

Well done on your chazza bargains, I popped by a couple yesterday but no joy, especially as the second one was closed - had popped out for 10 mins and I couldn't hang around.  I have bought a few hats from vinted this week though - really pleased with them although one has arrived with the brim a bit mis-shapen.  I need to look up how to re-shape it as its a beautiful hat but the one side of the brim is squashed up and that's making the front of the brim go downwards.  I've got it under heavy weights at the moment but I think something more is needed - this one if anyone knows about reshaping the brim of a hat.  Update - found this article - hope it works.

    Evening Ladies,
not posted for a while as RL has got in the way.

I am currently sat here with the sticky things you put on the soles of your feet to draw out the Toxins. Hope they look manky in the morning  :s
I/we are busy working our way through the toiletries. I have been good using up but then got  a late xmas pressie off my lovely NDbut1 neighbour and then she got me a perfume set. My DSis2 bought me 2 different shower gels for my birthday last month and some summer sandals. Think I was more impressed she purchased them from TK max.

Hope you all had a good weekend
