24 hours on my new stronger antibiotics and I am feeling so much better already.  The sputum test wasn't pleasant but hopefully if these antibiotics don't clear it once and for all the test will show what will work.  It's hard to feel fab when you can't breathe.

Lots of people seem to be having long chest infections at the moment so maybe it is a super bug or something.

Re charity shops I wonder if more people are trying to sell things, there are a few online sites that my DD uses.  People might be looking for a bit of cash with the cost of living issues.

Agree re. the superbug, lots of these lengthy chest infections around, really not nice.

I tend to use v1nted these days, a lot of the clothes are good quality and price.  I've bought and sold a few things now - it feels like clothes recycling.  I even bought a lovely dress a few weeks ago that didn't fit, so I put it back on and have re-sold it.  You do have to pay the cost of postage on your deliveries, but it costs me about £2.30 and you can purchase a bundle with discounts applied.  I did wonder whether people are using the site now to buy/sell clothes and cutting out the charity shops.

Chest infections are lingering round this way too.   I have used Vinted as I find it cheaper than charity shops and easier to find better quality.   We all need a bit of extra cash at the moment so maybe it’s a way of supporting “local” charity ?

Just to clarify for those not using Vinted, you pay postage on deliveries to you, i.e. purchases - postage on sales is paid by the buyer.

We did well at a charity shop today.  My husband has been looking for a replacement sports jacket, his old one is shabby but much loved, 100% wool from M&S.  M&S don't seem to have them now and when he found some online they were hundreds of pounds.  Went to a local charity shop and found two, lovely condition, 100% wool, and under £14 for the two.  Bargain.

My sons are 36 & 38 this year, where did the years go?!

My dad always had a Harris tweed sports coat, he bought them from Dunn's Menswear.

My "kids" are 47 & 43....but I try not to think about it. I like to think I'm still in my 40s...lol. But in reality I'm almost 67🙈
