Obviously your choice @bubbs but, considering we nag you to have enough syns, do you really think you'd go off the rails if you didn't weigh every week? 🤔 I'd be surprised but you know what works for you.
I was surprised they advertised the skewers on the Farmfoods leaflet if weren't a good offer. The picture looked as if it was a bumper pack of 3 (joined) packs of 8 skewers (so 24) for the £6.99. But I haven't been into the shop today so I'm just going on the photo. Looking at the app, only the plain chicken ones are really low syn (0.5) but others like fried or battered are high syn as you'd expect.

I take it if you go over the 8 weeks all that happens is that you loose online access.
We now forecast have a storm for Sunday/Monday.Sigh.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. That's right @beanielou. You lose online access and IIRC you get it back next time you go.
It might be worth messaging your consultant to tell her it's not safe for you to go out in the storm on Monday and see what she says. Mine's been ever so good in the past (like during Covid) and put me down as STS when I couldn't give her a home reading because I don't have scales at home! 🤔0 -

OMG the weather here has been atrocious. You all probably saw on the news that NI are on strike so no gritters and none until next week? Resulted in me having my first ever snow day yesterday. No way was I risking the roads to the main line, total sheet ice where the snow and been compressed . Now storm Isha is rolling in, its supposed to be warmer but the wind chill is baltic. Shes not due to land until this afternoon, but already its blowing a hoolle out there , but the plus is the snow and ice are melting so Im going to risk going to weigh in and work shortly@Bubbs, Scotland for sure. I know its not hot and sunny but you can be presently surprised with the weather. We were there last December and whilst it wasnt hot, it was dry and sunny and cos we were doing a city break in Edinburgh it was perfectly lovely for traipsing about. Not sure where you are in the country but the drive isnt so bad. We often drive Scotland to Yorkshire or London - about 4 hrs to Yorkshire - 7 to London and as long as you take the toll around Birmingham , the drive is really quite easy . We stop regularly to get out, stretch the legs , grab a coffee . We are heading back to Edinburgh in March, flying over ( a third of the cost of the ferry ) because we loved it so much and want to explore more@jellybaby , good idea to look at a city break , as you say so much to do. Re eating alone. When we first moved here, Mr L still worked in London so I had to do everything by myself or just sit in looking at four walls, What I did was to eat my main meal at lunchtime cos as you rightly say, its easier being solo at lunch but then saying that, most people are so engrossed in themselves and their phones I would eat out in the evenings alone now@Ruby_eskimo and others, another one here who HATES the hygienist. My few remaining top teeth are super sensitive that I have to be numbed completely and even then that squirty sucky thing is not allowed anywhere near me, puts me clean through the roof.Last weeks appointment got cancelled so I have that "pleasure" to look forward to in May I think. Cost me a fortune but at least its only £7 for the dentist check up - so swings and roundabouts@MrsPorridge - Congratulations on the loss. A 4lb target is totally achievable quite quickly. That 10% certificate is such a boost. The NHS say 5% in 4 months or something similar is the "norm" so 10% really feels like a huge achievementWell Im going to weigh in. Haven't been near a scale this week. Food has been up and down and nowhere near enough speed. I seem to be on track one day, and blow it the next at the moment. Nothing serious, just not being as careful as Id like. Still its now 19 days drink free so Im winning there and at least as a target member Im no longer paying so does it really matter if the loss slows down? As long as I go weekly and keep mindful it should creep back on0

Hi all.
Don't have time to read through all 12 pages that I've missed.
Hope you are all well.
Make or break time for me SW-wise. I've been MIA. Away with work last week, ate like a piglet, then my sister came over to visit, so more meals out etc.
Then on Monday, went back to work, felt rubbish and tested positive for covid. Have eaten junk in bed for a week.
Haven't liked SW from the start as it doesn't feel right to me and makes me obsessed with everything that passes my lips.
Decided this week to give up and maybe try Fast800 as it makes more sense to me than SW.
But then I was thinking about you guys. I've put about 4lbs back on maybe, but that could be worse.
Started back on plan today because of you lovely lot.
Should go back on Wed and sign up again for 12 weeks (or 11 as I doubt that covid will give me a free pass).
Will see how I go for the next few days and decide if I'm going to go back. I did say I'd try the next 12 weeks so I might just do it. I do need the accountability.0 -
Hi all,
Accountability and being able to eat decent amounts is the reason I keep going @NornIronRose. The plan suits my lifestyle and health issues - I definitely know when I’ve been off plan.
Lost 2.5 this morning. Happy days and will do another food diary this week as that always helps to keep me on track, along with this fabulous group.
No ostrich burgers left in Aldi and no tomatoes in Farmfoods this morning but I might try an other town when I visit my friend tomorrow.
Food so far has been coffee and banana in group, ham salad roll in mum’s after shopping and dinner is spaghetti bolognaise with Parmesan. Still off the alcohol 😇0
