Spend spend spend today and yesterday, electrician to check that i needed new bulbs, I did test the bulbs when I tested them they worked becasue the filament made contact really bizarro, which means I am down £60 for that alone. I rejoined sw however costing 14.85 (including 2 X hifis) I am having fish and chips so probably a waste of money. and I didn't go tot the gym either day, there is still time But would prefer just to get fish and chips! I know I lead sad little life, a lifeless wander, a bore, one step forward two steps back yada yada yada. Sorry.3

Another NSD today, which brings to 24 for January (a NSD for me - my partner paid for vanilla chai lattes for us, and also bought me a little ceramic cup for 50p!). I *almost* bought a bead necklace, but it was just a bit too much, and I didn’t need it.
Think I’ll aim for 26 out of 29 for February, which leaves the same 3 day leeway as I’ve had for January. It’s very motivating to post in here, and to cross the days off on my wall calendar. I’m hoping (praying!) that February will be my last month in the red, and that I’ll be able to start saving from March onwards - these NSD challenges are good practice for really evaluating my spending.‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. The bread will sustain life, the flowers will give you a reason to live.’Frugal living in 2024.
