Hawley_Gryphon said:Ok so far this month I've had quite a few days when there's been hardly any spend, but it's not NO spend, so I've not included them. Therefore the only days where there's no spend whatsoever is currently 4.

Hello all! Hadn’t realised there was a thread for NSDs - this is the first time I’m trying it, and I’m marking them on my wall calendar.
It’s a resolution of mine this year to be far more intentional about my spending - less impulsive, taking longer to think if things are a Want or a Need, and then trying to find them for free, secondhand, or on offer. Bluntly put, I can’t afford my previous spending habits, and I want to be building my savings rather than spending them.
So far I’m on 12/14 NSDs for January - on 6th I bought paint stripper and tester pots for £35, and on 13th I bought a linen tablecloth and a necklace for £6.‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. The bread will sustain life, the flowers will give you a reason to live.’Frugal living in 2024.

Hello all, I am at work today with leftovers for lunch and free doughnuts and a hot drink for all of our team (provided for our wellbeing on the made up 'Blue Monday'
) so that's me sorted for NSD number 13 today. Day off tomorrow so we'll see!

Today will be another NSD as am off work and have no intention of leaving the house to enter a shop. Busy doing my OU assignment so no time to online spend either - win win.
