Third day in a row of it not being a NSD. Friday was weekly grocery shopping, Saturday sent a parcel so postage costs and today trip to Aldi for oat and soya milk. OH usually pays for this but somehow he managed to bring his wallet but forget his card! Fortunately I had mine with me or it would have mad for an embarrassing moment at the till.

Tomorrow will also be spendy as meeting friend for lunch and it's my turn to pay. Taking comfort in the knowledge that every spend day so far has been for a need not a want or fancy and I've bought groceries according to our meal plan or basics like the milk.

    3/10 NSD

@Thevalueofless, you can exclude basic groceries as part of the challenge, so if you're just paying for necessaries like milk or budgeted groceries, it can still count as a no-spend day - just saying! x

  • Managed not to spend anything over the weekend so my count for January is at 5.  Will be meeting up with friends today so today will be a spend day, so used that as motivation to say no to costa over the weekend.

@cathybird thank you, I didn't realise that so will definitely help me reach my target. I'll do this from now on with the note to self that if I need something grocery led then it's a NSD providing I only buy what I went in for 🙂
