@Brambling thank you, I've just got to keep it off, that's the problem 🙄🤣 It's so hard to diet and exercise in winter, especially when folk are tired and low. I just want to hibernate really!

Urgh......have terrible back ache (being of the male species I have a low pain threshold so its probably mild) and cannot sleep, therefore I've come down to get anywhere near comfy.......and had a bit to eat so I'll pass on 2mrw mornings weigh in.
I really should take my sleeping tablets but tbh nobody really knows the long term effects of those so I'll suck this week up and go again.
Obviously I could just wait 24hrs but I visit my elderly Mom on a Sat night and trust me.....I'll (we'll!) eat the wrong stuff.
I don't think I'm doing too badly - been quite good in the evenings - but again the only true gauge of that is the scales so hopefully next week will reflect this.
I've never been someone who loses weight quickly, after the expected bounce of the first couple of weeks I'm more than happy with a pound or so a week, but I can't let it stagnate or it will soon go the other way.
Good luck to everybody over the next week or so.5 -
Bazzalona13295 a pound a week is 52lbs in a year…or almost 4 stones!! And just think of that really horrid awful person you don’t like getting every one of them pounds!!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

It'll come off I've no doubt about that, keeping it off is another thing. Lost 6st between 2018-2021, kept it off for 18 months or so, unfortunately 3.5/4st of that is back.
Hopefully not for good!5 -
Bazzalona a pound a week is good I’m another that lost a fair amount of weight and put it all back on and I’m struggling Suzesuu is right it’s nearly 4 stone in a year and it’s not easy to be good all the time when you are struggling with pain but brambling is doing a good job of trying to keep us all on the straight and narrow5

I’m pleased to announce I have lost the 2 lb I had gained so I’m back to my starting weight.I’ve swapped crisps and chocolate for Greek yogurt with honey. I’m focusing on homemade nutritiously dense foods that fill me up. This hasn’t increased my food budget yet but it might do in the months to come.I’m exercising again - 2 short runs a week to build up my stamina and daily YouTube beginners yoga.Well done everyone who has posted. Whether that’s a gain, loss or STS. I’m happy I posted about my gain last week, the support on this thread really helped me to stay focused.@Bazzalona13295 sorry to hear of your pain and sleep troubles. Have you tried a natural remedy for sleep? Genexa sleepology is pricey but may help you with sleep.Save £12k in 2024: £13,542/£12,0008
