Having a rotten week. I am sole carer and do-er for mum, she’s 102 still go all her marbles but can be very……trying….at times. She has been hard work this week which immediately causes me to reach for the biscuits, always in the evenings too. Not gonna beat myself up over it. What goes on can come off as well. Hats where this group is worth it’s weight - no pun intended - in gold. You make sure I don’t throw the towel in and I do need to be accountable as well. Thank you for being here. Have a great weekend xSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Well done to everyone who has lost weight this week!
I’ve not updated for a couple of weeks so jumped on the scales this morning. I seem to have lost 3lbs over the last 2 weeks. I’m trying not to get too excited as my scales have a habit of generating random readings when the battery gets low! Next Saturday you may well be reading that I have gained 3lbs!!
For now, I’m going to ask @Brambling to please update my weight loss with 3lbs… even if it’s inaccurate, it’ll give me more motivation for next week!
It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.7 -
Stayed the same this week, absolutely identical to the nearest .1kg.
Little bit disappointed but its obvious what needs changing - with the exercise I do I should be losing.....need a padlock for my mouth!
Onwards and upwards, well done everybody whatever your results, hope these next 7 days are good ones.6 -
STS again this week. I may join back to SW this Tuesday to see if I can get some focus back. Fine all through the day but keep picking in the evenings. Hope everyone’s doing well.

-5Ibs for me this week.
Not sure how accurate the last couple of weeks have been TBH though! Either my scales are wonky or last week when I gained 2Ib I had actually lost some but was retaining water or otherwise abit bloaty (considering I was sticking to all the diet and exercise, plus I know Im quite random with my weight loss anyways).
Been abit challenging this week due to insomnia (combination of menopause and a dog with dementia!). Been good with not snacking but have drunk an awful lot of coffee....my blood type is basically Nescafe at this point!!LOL
In other news Im finally making a dent in my old wardrobe and have been taking stuff down to the charity shop (I have no car so have to load up my doggy stroller and trundle to town that way!). Clearing out the clothes has started something though and I now have it in my head to declutter the whole house!
Hope everybody else has a good week ahead....loss or gain, stay positive!

At my partner's this week, so will record STS please @Brambling. It's a brave thing to be honest and get on those scales, and I'm really hoping my recent efforts will be worth it! Well done to all you brave folk, keep plodding on!
I've struggled with lack of sleep and motivation this week tbh. I have mostly kept to my calorie goals, been on a couch 2 5k run three times this week, and daily yoga. I did a HIIT workout on Wed and oh my legs ached the next couple of days!!
I had a wobble on Friday! I was so tired-bored-hungry and fed up with work I did massively overeat and have a few drinks. Problem working from home is access to snacks. I'm not undereating on a normal day, and I'm making sure I eat plenty of protein, fat and veg, so I think it was emotional rather than genuine hunger.
This week I'm having porridge and syrup or yogurt and nuts for breakfast. Lunches - a smoked tofu and avocado salad planned, homemade soup and greek salads. Nothing complicated for evening meals - loads of potatoes to use up so something and mash or wedges!
Hope you all have a good week x4 -
I know I’ve gained but I shall be remounting the horse after tomorrow mornings weigh in. Fell like I’ve wasted a whole week and am a bit disappointed in myself for being so weak willed. But I’m not throwing the towel in like I’ve done before - thanks to the support of you kindly folk. Onwards and downwards….the numbers on the scales that it.Hope every ones had a decent weekend and is looking forward to a fantastic positive week.
