12 days in, no booze, no bought snacks... So eased up slightly with a post workout biryani. Feel like I earned it!
Been in the office Wednesday and Thursday. Managed to avoid the snack van there too.
Dinners the past two nights are not from Pinch of Nom, but as I'm trying to control portions, it still helps.
Wednesday: braised fennel with wedges. And salad https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/milk-braised-fennel-with-thyme-breadcrumbs.html
More of a side dish. I thought it was delicious, but OH had chips, the cheat! 6/10
Thursday: pan fried basa fillet with coriander salsa and garlic potatoes. https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/pan-fried-basa-fillets-with-garlic-potatoes.html
Amazing, delicious, zingy, and under 500 calories. 10/10!
Both recipes Tesco's real food.Keep reading books!

Hi, sorry I forgot to update yesterday. Half a pound on for me unfortunately this week.0
-
Pleased to say I'm down 3lbs (or just under 3lbs, I'm still using kgs on scales so its the nearest equivalent) to 16st 6.
Very happy with that, much more so than last week as my first week is invariably good.
My food intake still needs a lot of work but I'm trying (very trying some would say) - did some late night shopping last night and used up my spare Nectar points on grapes and strawberries when a crusty loaf was much more enticing.
Exercise has been good, averaged almost 15,000 strps a day.
Well done to everyone no matter your results this week and thanks again for this group.6 -
Not been a great few days for me. Not overeaten that much but the things I have been eaten haven't been the best. I have especially laxed on trying not to drink pepsi. Haven't drunk much water either.
I did however prep the chicken for my week snacks (marinating overnight and then cook tomorrow). Got soup to last the week too - I only bought one last week and then struggled with lunches towards the end of the week.
I feel a lot better today so will be starting working out again tomorrow. I started feeling better Thursday but had an issue with my left quad that meant walking was causing pain/a pull and I didn't want to aggravate it (combination of cold weather and hormones I think...)Mortgage: £116,060 (Apr 2024)

At least then I know I'm getting 2 litres whatever else I do, but weekends I'm terrible.3 -
Thought I had done well this week so disappointed with a sts this week so still 11st 8lbs. Think I may have to watch the carbs a bit more. Hope everyone is doing well.Sirens I have the ninja blender and soup maker it can be a bit temperamental with a stop start sometimes but on the whole it’s very good. Before I had it I used my ninja 14 in one on pressure cooking and a stick blender which did the same thing really. I do fall for all the gadgets but honestly a saucepan and a stick blender will give you the same results as any of them

I struggle with drinking water too so I jazz it up with a tiny dash of sugar free squash or slice of lemon or home made cordial, I don’t add sugar - depending on tartness of fruit being used I may add a bit of stevia but then cover the taste of that with a tiny bit of honey cos stevia tastes pretty awful too or is it just me? . Where does it say it has to be plain water? And some tap water is gross🤢 tasting.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

well, put on nearly a pound this week.
Not too bothered TBH. Even though I ate abit more because I had a cold (not above maintenance though) but I thought my 3 and half pounds lost last week was deeply random and abit sus!
Generally my weight loss has been very much up and down....just over time going down more! As long as I know Im on track then I try not to stress about the weight loss.
Im getting very close to a normal BMI now though which is exciting.3 -
Not too hopeful about weight loss this week, but I have amassed 2 treat days and I'm using one today for a slightly less focused day.
Jolly good Pokewalk yesterday, followed by cinema. No popcorn or ice cream!
Breaking the script!
On the way home, we passed a pizza takeaway that smelled like heaven. Almost went in...
Instead, I decided I would make a moussaka, a slight deviation from the meal plan, and a few more calories than the plan, but nowhere near a pizza!Keep reading books!
