I love oats too. I had porridge for breakfast this morning. Usually I have seeds or berries or Greek yoghurt with it too. This morning I had some fresh strawberries as they needed to be eaten or would go over. Lunch was half a small avocado with two poached eggs and kale, dinner was a chicken a chick pea tagine with green beans. Lots of sweet cravings today though so maybe not enough protein at breakfast.

Weigh in day! Even though I am still a little under the weather I ended up losing 1lb since last week. Happy with that - hoping I feel good enough tomorrow to do a workout.
Managed a nice 35min walk this morning - didn't feel too ill when I got back. Really need to start setting some alarms to force me out my chair when working and do some stretches etc. I have a plan to get a standing desk at some point but I'm probably a few months away from affording it.
Done fairly well on eating and drinking today. Just been a little excessive on the lack of movement.Mortgage: £116,060 (Apr 2024)

I have a stack of cookery books that I really need to go through for inspiration.I like cooking so I need to make some weight reducing friendly meals. Have to be low sugar as diabetic and low fat as have liver disease but would be nice if they still had some nice flavour.Been increasing my fruit intake this week with bananas, blueberries and homemade apple purée on my overnight oats. Also been using grapes for snacking rather than reaching for a biscuit.I was going to join one of the online clubs but don’t see any purpose as all they do it seems is record your weight once a week for an awful lot of money. I’m feeling more supported here. I need to be held accountable so this forum is brilliant.Fingers crossed for another loss this Monday. Trying to bring more movement in as well.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Well done Sue 👏 fingers crossed the scales match SW
did you find some ideas Suzee I think if you like to cook it's easier to adapt recipes to make lower calorie so many of them start with take ## tbsps of oilLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3 -
Brambling I haven’t had two minutes to turn round today but it’s on my list for Friday - mind you, it’s competing with many other things on my list too 🤣.I did find time to make 2 more overnight oats this evening. And I managed to take something out of the freezer for dinner as well, just got to cook it!Had some deliveries I had to deal with - mum sends me anything she no longer wants whether I need it or not bless her, so then I have to deal with it. Also got new kitty cat just before Christmas who was feral. He is now having some limited interaction with us, he loves my husband but me…..not so much lol. He’s taking a bit of time as I am playing with him and sitting talking quietly just to ease his fears a bit more. Going to be a long, slow road but he is so darn cute and beautiful!!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Morning all,
Reporting in with a 1lb loss this morning. It’s not as much as I’d hoped, but it’s a start.
I believe my level of exercise is where it needs to be, but perhaps I’m not being honest enough with myself about my calorie intake 🤷🏻♀️
It’s definitely harder when you get older!

Well I've had a rubbish week, for some reason did not plan for lunches for work so ended up with cup a soups and bread (think I was living in denial that I had to go back!) I just seem really ill prepared this week so a sts for me. I'm thinking of getting a soup maker for work lunches, does none have any recommendations or opinions on whether it's worth it, and which is a good one to get?'You have brains in your head.
