I’m gobsmacked, including last weeks loss, I’m 1/2 lb away from my pre December birthday & Christmas weight. I wanted to lose 3 lbs this week but I’m speechless!***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***9
-
Morning everyone first weigh in I’ve lost 3 lbs happy with that as I have a under active thyroid but I have done lots of walking and tried to lower the carbs I eat as well as cutting out the rubbish6

Well done Pixie-comos! Suzeesu2000 totally agree about the turning up. When its bleak and cold and we just want to turn to carbs, well done all.
No wobbles yet thankfully. Navigated brunch at the cafe the best I could with scrambled egg and wholemeal toast. Not perfect, but an improvement on the usual bacon roll and cake.
Today I am having:
Breakfast - mushroom and parmesan omelette, I would usually also have green leaves, tomato or spinach but need to do a shop.
Lunch- lentil soup that's packed with veg
Dinner - Chicken tagine with sprouts and cauliflower

Hello.
Can I join you please? I'm starting today after eating the last of the Christmas goodies last week. DS is getting married on 9th November and I've seen a lovely dress that I'd like to wear for the occasion. My goal is to lose 5 stones before the wedding which works out at 7 lbs per month. So my goal for the first quarter is 21 lbs
I've unearthed the kitchen scales too. To assist with portion control as according to labels I'm a family of 4 🤦♀️
I need to do this for the good of my health I want to do it to look good in the wedding photos. Nipping my nose and jumping in...

welcome Frugal and Roundtuit
good luck. Nothing like a wedding to give you a goal!
Well done on every one who weigh in lots of angels and only the occasional purple devil lingering from christmas
I hope every one has a good week and the cold doesn't drive you to comfort food, we've had a heavy snow flurry but it's stopped now, just a dusting of snow settled but i don't think it will linger, i'm thinking soup may a been a better lunch than salad but as i have a couple more portions of salad in the fridge it will have to do.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5 -
Hello, sorry the day ran away... weigh in day!
Loss 3.5lbs
Hurray!
Okay, got 2 food days to report:
Yesterday:
Breakfast was poached egg and avocado smash from Joe Wicks Lean in 15, minus bacon, plus a piece of toast.
Dinner/Lunch: avocado metro roll, hummus and crudités
Dinner/tea: Pinch of nom chicken Vesuvio (pic only, recipe in book) - wow this was delicious. OH is absolutely raving. A mouth-watering 9.5/10, just be wary the lemon might be bitter.
Today:
Breakfast: 30g porridge, 20 blueberries, tsp golden syrup, tablespoon fat free yoghurt
lunch/dinner: half a bowl of homemade leek and potato soup, reduced fat cheese sandwich with rocket, no butter.
dinner/tea: this beauty Carribean lamb curry again. Still delicious. Added a little extra rice, so 60g per person, plus a dollop of yoghurt and chilli sauce drizzle. Yum!
