Weighed in yesterday and had a 2lb gain! 🤦♀️ 🙈 (annoyingly it’s come off again this morning on the scales but will be good motivation for this week!)
the Xmas goodies and wine are now finished tho so completely back on track now….Well done to everyone on a great first week!365 Day 1p Challenge 2025 #4 - £4.96/£667.954 -
Missed my weigh in yesterday due to early morning appointments, but weighed in today with a 0.5lb loss.
Considering I've been finishing off Christmas perishables, and that I ended up working from home 3 days last week, that's acceptable.
Unfortunately I seem to have picked up a cold, so no idea how this week will turn out. But I will try to keep to some semblance of control!4 -
@Teapot91 if it helps, I have to weigh in every day for Noom, so I can see my weight go up and down all the time. It's 'exposure' to help you understand there is often no rhyme or reason in weight gain or loss. You have to zoom out and look at it like a big graph, and eventually you see the down line.
I just realised I'm the lightest I've been since 2022, but this is a loooong process.Keep reading books!

Hello - please may I join this thread? I've been struggling with my weight for a while now. At one point I was good bit over the upper limit of a healthy weight for my height. I've managed to get down into that healthy weight bracket (just), but the scales are hovering too near the mark for my liking, and I don't want to undo the progress I've made. Added to that, I would like to see some of my clothes fitting better, plus get out of some bad eating habits that can't be good no matter what the number on the scale says!
Ideally I'd like to lose 1.5 stone this year. So I'll set the (probably overly ambitious) goal of half a stone this quarter, and then will re-assess. Whatever I do I want this to lead to permanent changes, so if that means only losing a pound or so a week, then so be it!7 -
welcome Eowyn1 and good luck
Thanks for the WI guys Teapot did you want me to add the +2 or as it balanced itself out do you want me to remove

Got my first weigh-in tomorrow...not expecting too much. Turns out one of the reasons I was feeling so tired was because I have some kind of bug...
Sunday I was tired but ok. Managed to do a 20min YT workout (Zeus Fitness). Didn't do much else at the weekend although cooked some Chicken Satay for snacks. They are really tasty so will probably do it as a weekly thing.
Monday morning I managed 35 min walk but by the afternoon I was feeling fairly unwell. Looks to have been a 24hr thing as I'm now starting to feel better. Only managed a 20ish min walk this morning as it was quite draining. Still managed to be fairly ok with my eating and drinking during this time - which is good as when I don't feel well I tend to reach for convenience. Not done any rowing Mon or Tues...
I also kept my fan on (really should buy some kind of white noise machine...) for the whole night last night which meant I pretty much slept through to my alarm. My neighbour sometimes wakes me up between midnight-3am (talking or TV/music on - not overly loud but I once I hear it, I can't ignore it) which means I get interrupted sleep as I need to turn my fan on to drown it out. Think this also might be a reason I've been tired when waking up in the morning.Mortgage: £116,060 (Apr 2024)

I’ve been having overnight oats for the last two days and have noticed I am not hungry at all before dinner. we have dinner midday.Today I made some apple purée to go on them with blueberries or on its own. Thinking that it’s a way I can add fruit to my diet, not a big fruit eater being diabetic but am enjoying it.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

My weigh in day today. Loss of 3lbs for me. Pleased with that especially as my recent thyroid function test shows I need to adjust my medication. Hopefully that will help with feeling so tired too (although that may be more to do with my 8 month old daughter waking at night)! Sleep does seem to be really important for weight loss though.6
