i intend to keep this thread bumped and fresh , just for the hope of saving a people the hell that is a ACER computer ( and to deny them some sales as well) .
i' ve got the will to do it and want pay back for the 10 weeks of crap they have put me through.

DO NOT BUY A ACER PRODUCT !

Don't be silly.

Acer are the best, on the whole I have never had a problem and being a techie sort of guy I have had a few. My sister has one too.

It's Dell you need to steer clear of.




And could you please edit your first post to say "an Acer", it's really annoying.

My Acer laptop is the only PC/Mac I have had that hasn't broken at some point

sorry have to agree with the op acer are pants, cheap mass produced rubbish and far far from being 'well engineered'

we bought an acer laptop and its c..p. it has gone back to be fixed with the same problem 4 TIMES in 2 months. at work we had a new acer laptop as well and that went back the 2nd day. load of rubbish.
